Darragh MacAnthony suggests otherwise, reading through his timeline suggests that they did make an offer but wasn't near 300k, they reckon they were used to promote some interest as he's surplus to requirements there.
I guess it does, my picture comes in his timeline after Nick's photo which gives a bit more infoMy reading is that MacAnthony says he didn't bid £200,000 but Barry Fry did. I.e. Peterborough did bid £300,000
