Excellent- Good player only going to get better and better. Really done well to establish himself in his breakthrough season.

Isn't it a good thing that we are extending contracts for our promising youngsters?
Was hoping it was going to be Bayliss. Shipley is ok but from what I've seen he's nothing special. A good player to have in the squad at this level nonetheless.

Is it just me or are we actually starting (STARTING) to run ourselves like a proper football club?

* Two year contracts issued in the last window
* Not overloading the squad with loans
* Signing our promising youngsters to decent deals
* Improved social media presence
* Decent ticket deals (even if one of them was questionable)
* Engaging with local schools
* Organising non-matchday events to garner more revenue ('An Evening With....)

I know we're still a basket case of a club but I'm pleased that despite all the legal nonsense, they seem to be listening to feedback and are acting upon it.

All we need is promotion, continued good cup run with a good amount of revenue and confirmation of staying at the Ricoh for a few more years and then this season is a good'un.

Have to say I have dared to think that Sisu have maybe learned how to run a football club. It would be massively against my own gut feelings which has always been to get rid ...BUT IF...well maybe the next step is to actually reinvest any incoming money form say a sell on clause... Could we begin to dream that this is possible... STREWTH never thought I would even contemplate it !

What has the world come to? Jordan Shipley signs a contract and Sisu are the best owners in the land. What they have done to this football club over their tenure is unforgivable. None of the ticket offers, contract renewals, signings etc has anything to do with them, they let the club run itself so people such as Dave Boddy should be praised not the likes of Seppala. I doubt she even knows that there is a ticket offer against Accrington Stanley!

Don't think any of that positive stuff is actually down to sisu, more robins, widdrington and boddy.

Yes but maybe they can be the guys that convince that horrible TF that he can just shut up stay in the background and let people around him work properly and sensibly and who knows...oh gosh i am dreaming silly thoughts !

Even so, thats not sisu doing the half decent things we have seen. It's people at the club like boddy doing commercial offers and evenings with and robins and widdrington sorting out player stuff.

It's not them waking up and turning over a new leaf, it's people at the club who often get overlooked and branded as sisu seemingly thinking outside the box.

Fair play to the lad. Been impressed with him when he's on song albeit he's been inconsistent but hopefully he'll work on that and sort it out.

Seems fair enough to extend it but it may not be as easy with Bayliss unfortunately

Apart from the imminent statement, I agree.

I've said it before and I believe that league 2 may have been part of a recent business plan to rebuild from the bottom with a sustainable football club.
