Just booked in for a test. Felt under the weather the last few days but no obvious COVID symptoms. Woke up this morning with a pretty bad cough and a tightness in my chest that i dont usually have. Hopefully all is good.
Just had my appointment through for the first covid jab.
Scotland; 18-65 with underlying health conditions if people are wondering where I am on the list.
I wish everyone the best by the way with their health.
The missus’ grandad had his letter sent to the wrong address (not one he’s ever loved at either) in Scotland also. Still hasn’t had a letter yet, 75 yo

COVID-19: Test and Trace 'now working really, really well', says Serco boss
A contracting chief rejects comparisons with the lauded vaccination rollout, arguing his firm was "plunged straight into it".news.sky.com
D’you know, I never knew of the link between Serco and the Tories until reading that and seeing the surname.
Rule of thumb, if a large contract was given out during a Tory Government the company involved has connection to the tories.

He's 75
Missed he was in Scotland, my bad. From what they were saying for both Eng and Scot on the radio earlier there should be a way to let them know if you think you’ve been missed. They were saying they can ask to be done at a GP as well but not sure if that’s just England.
He initially called when his wife (74) had received the letter and was told he had to wait for the letter. Then he rang up those higher up who admitted they had sent the letter to the wrong address, and to wait for one to be sent to the correct place. Don't know what the latest with him is but last we heard he still hadn't been able to make an appointment.
This seems to explain what we were discussing yesterday around perceived priority changes
1.7million more people will be told to shield in major change in England
The number of people told to shield in England will almost double thanks to a computer model - as the time period for shielding is extended by a month to March 31www.mirror.co.uk
I would like to know about October 1983 too.I'd love to know whether I had it as far back as June 2019 .
To answer my own Q about vaccine plans, just came across this. Frustrating that we can’t see supply rates but understand why.

Reading that right do they intend to open up jabs to all adults in April?
