Covid: People 45 or over in England invited to book vaccine
It comes after all over-50s and those in high-risk groups in the UK have been offered a first dose.www.bbc.co.uk

Sounds like it will be Moderna .Me too.... the site crashed twice when I was booking...... but as long as you've got the booking reference number(s), we're all set I reckon.
Nah, we'll get all the AZ stocks they're not going to use on under 30s anymoreSounds like it will be Moderna .
Wonder Which one goes to the 30's?
Just got some lateral flow tests delivered. Ordered yesterday from gov.uk and delivered today. Decent service.
Can't complain about how easy they are to get hold of free of charge.I’ve got a few in as well. Been using them for a few weeks for my son as requested by his school.
Oh worth every penny. Sure they couldn't have done it for any less.
Yeah Mrs. Wisdom has some. Not sure how useful it is though when her work has made it advisory to use them. All the diligent people will use them, while the ones who don't give a fuck won't bother, and surely they're the ones who'll need checking most! Can't complain about how easy they are to get hold of free of charge.

End of July I'll be buying half of you pints, giving the other half a slapPint after?
Though that was only for seniors, unless it's just down to individual school policy or suggested rather than mandated?I’ve got a few in as well. Been using them for a few weeks for my son as requested by his school.

Yeah, our kids are being encouraged to do one a week at Primary. Not mandatory but advised. Not sure. They requested the other test as well when he got ill. Think it’s a school policy. They haven’t had a single case yet. He’s been back in from when it was key workers only as well.
Is J&J the same method as AZ @Brighton Sky Blue ?
I had a sense of dread when I read that Johnson had said it is the lockdown and not the jab. Should have remembered who was saying it tbf.I can't get the link to the article but Tim Spector is in the mail today saying it is the Jab that is responsible for the drop in infections, not the lock down that BJ states.
I'm bloody sick of it now but the lack of confidence in the jab doing its job is wearing on me.

Both surely? We’ve had restrictions in place for about 4 months up until recently and it’s proven before that this makes a huge impact on the rate of infection. The hope/expectation is that it won’t increase as sharply as previously due to people having been vaccinated, no?
Yep, still haven't fully concluded all that many vaccinations (an ever increasing %age of first go of course) so it's a lockdown that's pulled the numbers down. The whole point of the vaccine is so they don't rocket up again after, of course! Both surely? Infections due to lockdown reallyI can't get the link to the article but Tim Spector is in the mail today saying it is the Jab that is responsible for the drop in infections, not the lock down that BJ states.
