Really?
You can't see the difference between going to the supermarket and going to the pub?
The bloke is an absolute prick. I don't know anyone who would disagree.you think medical experts are telling him to keep pubs and restaurants open and to make statements like we can be on top of this in 12 weeks? I can't see it myself.
He would see himself as a key worker or someone far more importantPiers Morgan keeps kicking off about people go into the pub.
Just put ITV on, why are they 2 guests sat on the sofa on this morning surrounded by camera men, makeup artists, presenters, sound people etc?
Until pricks like him who have told people to go and stock up pipe the fuck down then everybody will be hysterical.
I wouldn't be surprised if somebody gets attacked for leaving their house and Coronavirus Rage becomes a thing.
Yeah I am sure the country singer plugging their new album are key workers and really need to be there. He would see himself as a key worker or someone far more important
In which case why is it OK for the same person to go and scrap in a supermarket or why can I go to work without any symptoms?
Until they make it a full lockdown that is a law then people will still go out at their own risk.

The way people started with all this as earlier in the thread will show and look where we are now. And people are STILL not taking it seriously. What more needs to happen.
But it’s not just their own risk. I’m obviously fighting a losing battle. Getting food and having to go to work isn’t the same as popping to the boozer for a few slugs in my opinion. And I’m saying this as someone who absolutely guarantees if I went down the club now my high risk category dad will be in there like every day.
Along with the death of the Duke of EdinburghSo the Martial Law hasn't happened that Chantelle's boyfriends cousins sisters husband promised us on Whatsapp...
And the people they infect before they realise they’re infected? Jesus, it’s not that hard to understand. Then those 5 people have no complaints as they were in the pub

Yeah but I can go and queue at Tesco for an hour to fight an OAP for a bag of rice at 7am and then have to drive around trying to get stuff to make a decent meal as well as trying to work for a day.
The other option is to go to Spoons and get a curry and a pint for a Fiver. I have mates who have been going to the pub for dinner for that reason.
I get that people need to get food and do shopping but the majority of those at the minute don't NEED to be getting what they are and doing what they are doing.
Once there is some sort of order in the shops and people like Piers Morgan shut the fuck up then I am pretty sure it will die down naturally.
Is this true what I'm hearing that Tim Martin is refusing to close pubs "on commercial grounds", and because of his big donations the govt are unwilling to say a word about it? So much stuff flying around you don't know whats true and what isn't. I did see that Wetherspoons won't pay anyone if they go off sick, he's a horrible bloke.
They haven't made it law to close pubs yet though have they?
The thing is, if he closes then won't loads of people lose their jobs?
Not read anything yet, but government just published a ton of reading on the advice they’ve had and strategy they’re taking. Good to see.

You’re really not getting what’s happening are you?

I think the argument is that it’s been argued the pub is a risk category. Supermarkets clearly are worse. I went into a Sainsbury’s yesterday and it was absolute hell. Vast amounts of angry people and no food. An gang of kids pushing a trolley with one person in it bringing down a whole shelf of stuff. It was a fairly bleak seen and I will not be going back.
Are you self isolating from your senses?
So your genius plan is to cut off food supply? Have you not considered why that’s less preferable than closing the pub?
Jesus, your automatic response of just whatever the opposite side is is really being shown up here.

It's just fact though isn't it? They haven't made it law for pubs to close.
Once they do then I am pretty sure they can take action if people refuse.
And the people they infect before they realise they’re infected? Jesus, it’s not that hard to understand.
Have they forced pubs to close yet, yes or no?
No.
Nick is the winner. Well done.

The people they infect in the pub? They can’t complain as they’ve chosen to go to the pub?

Which is the point, why are the government going to take action for not closing?
Make it the law, lock it down and then action can be taken about it. I am pretty sure it helps pubs be able to claim off their insurance then if they are forced to close.
And what about the people they then go on and pass it to? It it their fault as well?
Has the meaning of the word "virus" not actually sunk in yet? Bewildering lack of basic intelligence & common sense.
You're no different to that bloke in the video in Spain- "I'll do what I want and screw everyone else".
Probably more decisive action, i.e proper lockdown etc.
Atm, we're in some sort of limbo. I am taking it seriously, but it's hard to when you can still do whatever you want (Buying toilet rolls and bread aside)
*Especially as the majority of the general population are fucking idiots.
