Not sure. What are the studies on how the vaccine affects transmission rates?
Can't find anything anywhere.

several of the available vaccines appear to limit infection and viral replication, often lowering viral load beneath the threshold for transmission and preventing symptoms…many studies show significant efficacy in preventing transmission for some vaccines, such as the Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines
We provide empirical evidence suggesting that vaccination may reduce transmission by showing that vaccination of health care workers is associated with a decrease in documented cases of Covid-19 among members of their households. This finding is reassuring for health care workers and their families.

What doesn’t seem reassuring?
From the first one:
From the second one:
What stood out for you?
'Given that vaccination reduces asymptomatic infection with SARS-CoV-2,2,3 it is plausible that vaccination reduces transmission; however, data from clinical trials and observational studies are lacking.'
The studies largely say nothing.
That sentence you’ve quoted is immediately followed by another saying the authors have subsequently gathered “reassuring” empirical evidence though?
The studies were lacking; now they’re showing good news!
I hope you are right. Just seems to me the jury is out still.
I desperately want the vaccine to be the way out of this, but I'm losing a lot of hope that it is going to be the case.
Which studies have you seen that argue the contrary?
As I said, there seems to be a lack of studies that I could find at least. That's why I asked.
The ones you posted hardly cover the positive in glory though do they?
They seem pretty positive to me!
I found them on page 1 of the Google results for “vaccine transmission”, it took me 30 seconds. So I’m sure there are many more studies out there if you want them.
In the absence of any studies that say the vaccines are worthless in terms of preventing transmission (and obviously that is far from their only/main benefit), I’m feeling even more grateful that we’ve got the vaccines we have.
Well, I am very glad that it satisfies your curiosity. That's good.
Unfortunately for me I don't feel the same way.
