Away from the Hitler nonsense , I'm not pleased about what Austria deem acceptable to impose on its people .
Either way I'm out for a while , enjoy your Christmases
I am in favour generally of civil liberties but there is no reason to not take the vaccine at all. None. Its for the good of society so I am afraid that if this behaviour continues then I am leaning towards measures that restrict their movements as they are not prepared to think of the greater population.
I think everyone has that to some degree. I did. But it's healthy to have a small degree of uncertainty or even fear. It takes a lot of trust to let someone, often a complete stranger, inject something into you - you are pretty much at their mercy.Away from the Hitler nonsense , I'm not pleased about what Austria deem acceptable to impose on its people .

Has someone started a counter-spreadsheet, keeping track of all Grendel's views, opinions and comments? Two months ago you said you were "totally opposed" to vaccine passports, and they should never be introduced. What changed?
Passport Control
Me totally opposed - this is a slippery slope we will do but never shouldwww.skybluestalk.co.uk

Hey, I was no massive fan of Max either
Did a quick straw poll at work today and of those in my phone contacts who i maintain contact with, about jab 3. Those that are double jabbed of course
At work of the 26 people asked, 15 said no. 10 yes 1 undecided
Phone, 16 asked, 9 no, 7 yes.
Seems its not only me that is really not keen on jab 3
Do not think that will just increase the chances of future lockdowns though?Did a quick straw poll at work today and of those in my phone contacts who i maintain contact with, about jab 3. Those that are double jabbed of course

I'm not taking another paracetamol for my headache, I already took two of them a few weeks ago.
Er you’ve just quoted what’s changed - are you putting me in the Covtel?
Can I ask why?
So you only recently became aware of people refusing to take the vaccine?
Anyway, your arguments in the other thread you started were apparently based on principle, but you seem to have done a complete 180 in the space of two months.
You aren’t, you have a wealth of peer reviewed data to give you the confidence it isn’t injection roulette.
There are still the very rare bad reactions and side effects, which despite the very very tiny chance of it happening there is a brief moment where you wonder 'what if...?' Then there's trusting the actual person doing it because if you've had a bad blood test or whatever in the past where you've felt a bit like a pin cushion it takes a bit of trust.
Er yes I’m fully aware and I’ve repeatedly stated that I’m not in favour but if the options presented are a lock down restriction for everybody or just for those who repeatedly ignore advice that’s the decision
I think scientists have done several 180s on COVID advice as the situation develops as well have they not?
But that's not the psychology of it.Which compared to the risks of a Covid infection with no protection is pretty insignificant. And I think the record after tens of millions of injections is testament to that.

Science certainly evolves, yes, and the scientists always show their working. I'm just curious if you can do the same considering it was a "slippery slope" and a "strange thought process" that should never happen just two months ago.

Of course, as you dont resort to childish retorts like some others
The general consensus being that what was massive faith and belief in the vaccine when we were all queueing up for dose 1 or 2, has completely evaporated since being told 'oh actually lets bang another in you so thats 3 in less than 9 months.
Also, a fair few responses of, well why are we needing 3 of the jab that was made with info of the initial alpha variant, when delta has been dominant for so long, yet the jab hasnt been amended to tackle the delta.
To a degree I'd find this harder to argue against. I guess my main issue would be depressing spread, that again from the figures about whether you actually catch Covid after your third, looks like a way to pushing down spread is indeed a third shot - we'll see, of course.Lastly a few that were just of the view of now we know more about the disease nearly 2 years on, they'll take their chances woth confidence in their immune system and previous 2 jabs
Every single person I know who’s double jabbed without exception when we’ve spoke about it has said they will have the third jab.
And unless I’ve totally lost the plot I’ve always expected a third jab, and a fourth. And so on. Was that not always the case?
I’ve explained and now you are boring me
tbf I was a bit surprised initially - I was thinking of vaccine in the way of smallpox or TB type.Every single person I know who’s double jabbed without exception when we’ve spoke about it has said they will have the third jab.

Well i was under the impression a yearly booster was on the agenda, which is fair.
Not one every 3 months
