Yeah had asthma all my life mate it’s not bad just the odd puff on the inhaler now and then usually gets worse summer time but if I pick up a cold etc or chest infection it’s usually a daily thing I’ll be on the inhaler,my worry is how easy it is to pick up partner or me has to go shops etc
I’m the same as you. They advised making sure you’re taking a preventative inhaler at the correct times and dosage on a daily basis to help build up a resistance to the respiratory part of the virus should you get it. Got a preventative inhaler the other week for the first time in years. If you’ve not already got one and keeping on top of taking it you may want to consider it.

I'd say it's more "Yeah, remember when we told our readership we couldn't vote for those nasty socialists and their public spending, what's happening now isn't anything to do with that...."

Vile rag

I hope people also see right through the papers now as well, it’s more blatant than ever that any independence has gone and they are nothing more than mouthpieces for their owners. I saw Kay Burley from Sky appealing for people to buy a paper as they are struggling badly as people aren’t buying them as much any more- fuck that, karma is a bitch.

Jesus brum is out of control

I think you’d have to take population into account- Brum is well over 1m people, I think places like Manchester are half that as the boroughs next to them make up greater Manchester. But you’re right, that’s high- I think Leeds has over 700k population and they have way less.

Why when this broke in November didn’t we act then like we are now anyone ?

gotta be fair, aside from South Korea, HK, Singapore and China itself, nobody acted fast enough. When the penny dropped we were the worst prepared by miles and made by far the biggest hash of it, mistake after fuck up then lies and more fuckups then the PM ran away- complete joke... but then the USA came along and seemingly decided to kill as many people as possible and make us look like a well oiled machine- Trump is a psychopath and urgently needs to be locked away.

Their current tactic is to intercept supplies destined for other countries and divert them to USA- they’ve done that to French and German supplies so far, and he ordered supplies to no longer go to Canada

Is this down to high Muslim areas I wonder where people are still meeting up for Friday pray etc ?
Saw something on twitter the other day with accompanying pic saying the mosques were closed for social distancing but muslims were still meeting up to pray together.

Of course its hard to know if that's true at all and if it is how widespread of an issue it is. There's as much chance of it being some racist loon posting it as someone with genuine concerns.

Haven't France done exactly that to us? Seized something like 200,000 face masks.

I saw this type of thing as well, then it was pointed out that it wasn’t exactly hordes of Muslims packing out pubs contrary to “guidance”. I don’t know about mosques but I do know that the first 4 doctors to die while trying to save the lives of British citizens were all Muslim, so it’s a little distasteful to level that kind of shit at them.

France 1120 deaths and 5233 new cases

Anyone know why they have soured so fast ?
France still collecting data from those that died at home and in residential homes.
Percentage of deaths from retirement homes disturbing .

If the percentage of local Muslim population was a factor then why is Sheffield not not far behind Birmingham when Muslims make 6 percentage of Sheffields population but 21 percentage of the population of Birmingham. There's not correlation to even argue causation.

I think one of the nurses that died today at the age of 39 was also a Muslim.

The thing with this is Manchester 221 on its own, if you add in the outlying areas
That make up Greater Manchester the numbers I would think will be very similar to
Birmingham ‘as would the population.
If you gage Sheffield 715 against comparable city’s, Liverpool 342 , Leeds 219
Sheffield for some reason looks really high.

Was just about to post asking why we aren't seeing similar in other area's with a high Muslim population if that was the reason. Suppose you really need to see the figures per 100K of population to be able to compare.
