Probably not as he's a Tory.

150 mile trip and he’s the communities minister. Think there may have been others who could have stepped in for him and he decided to see his parents. Nothing wrong with thatDon’t get this, travelling to bring essentials to the vulnerable is allowed, how did he defy lockdown?
There was also a neighbour going the same thing.Don’t get this, travelling to bring essentials to the vulnerable is allowed, how did he defy lockdown?

As I said there is also a neighbour of his parents who already drops off food and stuff.Been.in the vicinity of several people who've had to isolate or had the virus, has hopped from his Westminster abode to his second home (not his family home) and then to his vulnerable parents.
Astute must have ruffled a few feathers in the past, theres quite clearly 'sides' in this thread as much as people say they don't want there to be, but he seems to get it from all angles. Must have missed something.

Police now hanging about in super markets to see who's buying non essentials. Between that and standing outside hospitals they don't seem to have much to do.
According to Fernando they don't.Police now hanging about in super markets to see who's buying non essentials. Between that and standing outside hospitals they don't seem to have much to do.
Because as the spokesman for number 10 said both today and yesterday if a shop has been deemed essential and is staying open people are allowed to buy anything it sells.why don’t the supermarkets just block off the ‘non essential’ aisles? And who’s making these decisions on what’s essential and what isn’t?
So why are the police stopping people then? Sounds like another big messBecause as the spokesman for number 10 said both today and yesterday if a shop has been deemed essential and is staying open people are allowed to buy anything it sells.

That's fine you saying that, Pete, but I don't know any of your contacts.Decided a few days ago to phone 5 people a day off my contact list to catch up with people. I’d really encourage everyone to do it it’s been great

I tried that. Ended up buying 3 pizzas and a kebabThat's fine you saying that, Pete, but I don't know any of your contacts.
Very easy. Have a go at both sides to a debate and both sides disagree with you. On a lot of subjects you are supposed to be one side or the other. But frequently both sides are shite.Astute must have ruffled a few feathers in the past, theres quite clearly 'sides' in this thread as much as people say they don't want there to be, but he seems to get it from all angles. The lurker can't take part was he's not allowed to walk down to the local payphoneSounds like a plan. Everyone needs to give someone else on here 5 of their contacts, then when we all have a list we neck a few cans and dial away. Good luck whoever gets to give The Lurker their contacts .
Are they on the way down again mate?Italy
1,521 (??) new people tested positive
570 deaths
1985 recovered
Are they on the way down again mate?
Seen that they are fully extending lockdown possibly till May 3rd?Updated the new positives, misheard the number, 3951 but testing being increased.
Today the press conference was unusually short so they didn’t go into detail but it does seem to be moving in the right direction still.

That would be one of the preferable contacts in their phone.Coventrian and Lurker are excluded, I don’t want to end up chatting to a probation officer on a Friday night

Corbyn and Boris for one. But try saying Labour had no chance with Corbyn because of too many skeletons in the closet. That becomes to mean you are destroying his character. But the truth is you can see that the Tories would walk it even if they put an idiot against him.....
So Boris comes along. There is your idiot. And we all know what happened next.
I was a prick for saying Starmer would have a better chance. Now hardly any complaints now it has happened.
All in a day of SBT.
Not been into a supermarket since the lockdown but was in boots yesterday getting some hay fever treatment and they had. Food, medicines and stuff like shampoo, deodorants, family planning only. All the isles with electrical goods, designer perfumes and gifts all cordoned off.why don’t the supermarkets just block off the ‘non essential’ aisles? And who’s making these decisions on what’s essential and what isn’t?
