The RMT have fuck all to do with Labour and the councillor from Derbyshire has been expelled from the party.

Still let's not let facts get in the way of a good deep.

The other thing peeing me off is the weekly NHS clap by people who are not helping the situation much at all.

Across the road, there is a family of three. However, over the past week or so, lots of people have been in and out the house. Woman with a child, daughter's boyfriend, another bloke (guessing may be the girl's dad), the girl's boyfriend, the son who doesn't live at home.

Been several people in and out and the son is full on gobbing on the pavement too.

Guess who in our street was clapping the loudest last night and cheering and banging saucepans with spoons?

Yup.

Cheering the NHS whilst igoring the advice, which could result in the loss of lives and more exposure by NHS staff trying to treat this thing.

Grrrr

Yes Otis it's the same in the supermarkets, if you say anything about social distancing ( 2 meters) you get a load of verbal abuse.

What a wonderful world we live in.

RMT second in command

I see. So would now be an appropriate time to point out that Dominic Cummings said that if a few old people die but the economy is saved then ‘so be it’, and that quite a few people on the other political side have said something similar?

Or could it be that the whole country is divided, sick and political belief is put before any kind of decency, and politics is now becoming a religion, a cult, where we are all monstrously outraged at the things people say... long as they’re said by people on the other team?

I’ll leave you to sort out which and who is worse, perhaps soon enough you’ll see that you’re all as fucking bad as each other.

What? Because people die from car accidents, is that what you're saying?

Im saying these deaths are not deliberate acts of murder so if you remove the cause you’d save more deaths if you banned vehicles

What I’m really aghast at is the absurd terrorist comment. Acts of terrorist over 50 years have resulted in even by the most generous view 4,000 deaths - all wilful acts of murder and by your own words anyone who supported such despicable actions really had “blood on their hands” - so at least this Prime minister did not believe the bombs snd the bullets mantra

Show me where this fool arrived at his deaths by terrorist calculation will you?

More died of Spanish flu than WW1 it’s an absurd statement

The terrorism aspect was not the main reason for me posting it.

The point is they are claiming it's a Good Friday despite almost two thousand people dying in two days. It's incredibly crass and insensitive.

And regarding road deaths, more people have died in the last two days from Corona than in the last year from road accidents so not sure what your point is there.

I don’t agree with anyone saying I hope they die and I’ll be having a party is so wrong though don’t you agree? Politics aside?

The on road deaths was it was an abstract mode of death rather than an intentional one? Also globally it’s much worse and there is the deaths through pollution m

Good Friday and an absolute lie about terrorist deaths - why I wonder?

Again you see a twitter account with an utter lie and you post in on here. Why?

In amongst the general shite of the last couple of weeks, the leader of the country starting to recover is indeed good news.

We can overread all this in the interests of making a political point.

If you think almost a thousand people dying in a day is a good day then that's up to you.

It is. And of course that doesn't mean you can't be sad for people who die, it's not an either / or.

But among the constant flow of horribleness, it's good to have something positive.

And however much I may think Johnson is not the leader I'd want in a crisis, however much despair I may have felt at him getting elected, a power vacuum with no leader at all at this stage would be horrendous for the country.

The RMT are not an affiliated union.

I once had a photo taken with Kylie when I was young. Doesn't make me a minogue.

Go to bed

That’s not the point is it.

I think this is I assume Mr Evans who believed people who were blown to pieces for the cause don’t count - this for you is an utter nightmare

Theres some very bitter people on here. Finding ways to get angry at the news the Prime Minister is getting better. Sad.

Just back from shopping and whilst some people think the arrows on the floor mean everyone apart from them, I'd say on the whole people seem to have found a new level of respect for each other in and out of store (apart from on this thread of course). I'm not naive enough to think post Covid it will continue, but still nice to see.

You are the one missing the point. I don't know, nor do I care, who 'Mr Evans' is.

I'm talking about The Sun's front page. I don't care about the guy who tweeted it, or what message he tweeted with it.

I'm saying it's incredibly crass and insensitive to call today a good day because one person got some good news while almost a thousand died.

You will disagree with that I am sure. Boris recovering is good news, but it is not a good day when just under 1000 people died from the virus he has recovered from. I really don't know how anyone can argue with that.

So you just stumbled across a terrorist sympathiser

His Good Friday and deaths was a piss take as he’s a IRA sympathiser?

Exactly while I'm glad the PM seems to be recovering I also think to call a day when we register almost a 1000 deaths in hospital from this virus a good day is rather sick as well.

Which ever of the tory weirdos you are talking to needs to look at themselves in the mirror.

Another one who doesn't get it. I'm not angry at the PM getting better, I'm angry at it being described as a good day when nearly a thousand people died.

Do you think today was a good day?
I don't think any day is good day, but the leader of the country getting better is good news and, at least for a day, belongs on the front page. Its uplifting.

I don't follow him.

Are you aware how twitter works?

Again, I don't know or care who he is. Forget him, I'm not talking about him, I'm just talking about the crass front page of the Sun.
