Glad they are OK.

That's what I mean, I don't just mean a driver who goes from A to B and that's it. People will be mixing with others all day and there has only been 1 today who was wearing any sort of PPE. Not even so much as gloves for the others.
Yeah, our company has provided gloves, hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes to clean our cabs with. There's plenty of it too, so it's not too bad at our place. I can imagine other workplaces aren't so organised.

Just seen here that we the usual suspects on Facebook groups have been posting the line up for tonight.

- The silence
- The clapping
- The happy birthday singing

One woman even got shirty with another poster because they got the order mixed up. What a load of pretentious shit.

What are we doing at 8.10, the hokey kokey? Heads, shoulders, knees and toes!?

Someone pull the plug. I've had enough.
Why don't you pull the plug and not bother with Farcebook?

Wife made me an account many years ago. Only use it as a tool. Use it to find people and to cheer me up when I am a bit down. I find it funny watching someone having a meltdown over something very trivial. Or someone having a rant about people having a rant. Or those who say about those who use filters to try and look better yet none of their pics look like them. Comedy gold at times.

Tbf I work for a delivery company and we have to do deliveries in to stores. Therefore, mixing with various people. Staff, shoppers etc. 5 of our drivers have been off with severe symptoms, one of which was hospitalized, and tested, and confirmed covid. A few others have been off with minor symptoms, but obviously still had to self isolate. That's out of around 80 drivers.

Edit: Just to add the driver who was hospitalised and tested. Was a 29yo fit and healthy young lady. She was extremely ill, but thankfully has made a full recovery.

People don't understand jobs they don't see.

I am covering several jobs on overtime that are not my usual job but have past experience in. one of them is goods in. Had a driver who kept invading my space. Kept telling him to keep his distance. Wasn't happy because I told him he had to open both sides up. He then started slamming his side boards down. That got me. Checked our stock of what he was delivering. Wasn't urgent. So told him I'd had enough of his attitude on Google translate and he wasn't getting unloaded. His company had to rebook for 2 days time. When he came back I got a message letting me know. Left the job I was doing that day so I could deal with him. Very polite this time.

Found out he is always arrogant. So drew up a final warning for him. Any more trouble and he is banned from site.

A job title gives no idea of problems with a job. Those keeping supplies going should be on a higher wage...especially at the moment.

Either way I think there are heroes all over the place without bloody making a record. .

They were all talking about how amazing it was how an old person could have a No.1. From my experience with grandparents etc old people are constantly having no.1's.

The thing that got me was they were saying who great it was a 99yo was top of the charts and ignoring the fact a 103yo was fav to get it before that came out. I hope Vera Lynn gets it this week.

My theory is a lot of it is down to how 'friendly' a lot of Europeans are. Their families are closer and have lose greetings. So it spread very quickly. Spain had it very bad. Their lockdown was very tight. Their kids have only just been let out after 2 months. Maybe that is how our very soft 'lockdown' has started to work.

Of this is correct they will be able to do something similar to us but stop greeting each other as they normally do.

Do you reckon we had a less strict lockdown because we're more stand-offish and reserved as a nation so it wasn't as necessary? Just gave us an excuse to do what comes naturally

Yep, my daughter loved something like 5 minute craft. It was effectively a woman putting loads of slime into a box and then filling it up with any old shite she could find in her house and then mixing it together.

TOP SATISFYING SLIME MIXTURE.

Millions of hits.
My daughter started commentating everything like she was a YouTube star. Blocked YouTube.
All those sickly American brother and sister acts pffft.

Never had it. In a life littered with bad decisions a rare good one.
