It may have featured on the occasional C4 bulletin or panorama .My issue is the patients they turned away due to lack of staff

On the face of it yes it is a good thing. If its purely that we created extra capacity in case it was needed and shut it down when it wasn't then job done.
However if it has been shut down as other hospitals have stopped referring patients there due to them being turned away as there't no staff thats not so positive.
Nightingale hospital 'turned away more coronavirus patients than it treated'
Agree, but worth kicking off about it when contrasted with the thousands being left to die in care homes. It all feels a bit like a massive PR stunt.
Empty it out and play our matches in there to win the league!People kicking off about the nightingale hospital barely being used. Surely that’s a good thing? Or did we want it rammed? Can’t win.
There's a huge difference in those numbers. One is 6% of the population and the other is 50%. If its 50%, and re-infection isn't possible, you're getting to the point of herd immunity being a viable way forward. Going to need a lot more certainly on the numbers before they can be used to formulate the strategy going forward.Extrapolating from these figures suggest that between 4.2 and 33.5million Britons have been infected with COVID-19
New cases down for a 3rd day in a row....bet none of you will mention that good news though will ya, will just moan about us doing 85k tests
It's the weekend results.New cases down for a 3rd day in a row....bet none of you will mention that good news though will ya, will just moan about us doing 85k tests

They do when you can't take the test due to non return envelope or not one qualified at your home and they lag when you could a test posted as a test completed.Cases don’t lag it’s deaths that lag over the weekend
Tell you what mate - you go pass on that ‘good news’ story to a family that’s lost someone to Cov-ID 19.New cases down for a 3rd day in a row....bet none of you will mention that good news though will ya, will just moan about us doing 85k tests
Isle of white have got the contact tracing app, wonder when we’ll be able to download it
So it’s not good news to you that total cases are going down now and are on a downward trend? Obviously every death is heartbreaking and we pray the numbers come down quickly in both settingsTell you what mate - you go pass on that ‘good news’ story to a family that’s lost someone to Cov-ID 19.

France have confirmed there were cases of corona in the country a month earlier than thought

I deffo think it was here around Christmas so many people were off poorly with the fluSo everyone here slating others for saying they had symptoms from xmas onwards can eat humble pie then surely?
Adamant my lad had it end of Jan, a the hallmarks and symptoms, doctors asked 'have you been to china'. When no was the reply it was left as an upper respiratory infection but they dont know what.
Preparing to be shot down here, but what if all this is the second wave everyones scared of? Stranger things have happened at sea

While I agree 288 are 288 to many I think last monday from memory was about 100 more. I do not think they did not include care homes may be wrong. If I have a gripe with the handling of this it was right at the begining of this whole saga was allowing Cheltenham to go ahead and Athletico Madrid fans to come to Anfield. At the time it was 1 of the most infected places in the world.great news everyone, 288 people died.

It is good news that the death rate is about 75% lower than a week ago. It means there will be thousands less families losing a loved one each week. How can that not be good?
Every death is absolutely awful ffs what are you trying to say???!! It’s encouraging that that the cases are falling as are the death totals.....don’t you see that as an encouraging sign we’re getting on top of the virus??? I’d rather it be much lower than the 100s more it was over the last few weeksgreat news everyone, 288 people died.

It’s encouraging then and long may it continue to drop massively in deaths and new cases50000 reasons tell me good is not the right way to describe it.
