Read what I originally said. I simply used n1h1 as an example of a pathogen that didn't act as usually expected of a flu pandemic.

You jumped on this as you seemed to misunderstand what I actually said.

Say sorry and move on

Ha ha. We’re going round in circles. My original comment was simply questioning the statement that the warmer weather will reduce things as we simply don’t know yet and those countries that currently have milder weather still seem to have the same (or worse) outbreaks. You then started calling me a clown, a peanut and a bonzo or whatever it was. I mean, your insults are amusing at times, but you can’t really throw your toys out of the pram when someone gives a bit back.

What exactly would you like me to apologise for you spermicidal lubricant?

Apologise for jumping in and saying I was comparing the current covid-19 pathogen with n1h1. I did not, I simply said the prevailing view on flu pathogens is they don't survive as well in warmer weather. I just n1h1 as an example of a pathogen that has acted a typical.

Nothing I have said warrants an apology so suck eggs.

Its quite rare to see Everton 1985 & relegation battles being discussed alongside the N1H1 flu pathogen & mortality rates.

Well, we can save our Defence budget now. Just send out a few infected kamikaze tourists to the country we want to attack and stand back and let nature take effect. Obviously we need to intensify the strain to catch the young and fit ones, but I'm sure we can get Porton Down on the job.

Just compare it to mers and Sars, both of them died of in the warmer months as you stated, people just like being fancy saying it's not the flu. (It is) just a bit complicated.

Acts like the flu, treated like the flu spreads like the flu, is the flu, just a unvaccinated flu that has a higher than normal mortality rate, swine flu was as bad if not worst.

Swine Flu and Sars worse much worse however harder to catch

Swine flu infected far more than co-vid that's why I said bad if not worst. When the world starts warming up or will slowly vanish atleast until next winter.

Swine Flu has a mortality rate far far lower than COVID19. Even lower estimates for COVID put it at 50 times as lethal.

It’s the combination of lethality and contagiousness that you use to judge severity not one or the other.

The team are doing well and for once i'm not nervous about us royally cocking it up.... nope instead i'm worried about a bloody cold/flu/illness whatever it is!

I can see games behind closed doors imminently, and the way Italy has acted, i can see postponement of the season all together.

I then have no faith in the EFL to do anything sensible whatsoever!

I'll do what Robins does and take it 1 game at a time and hopefully Saturday goes ahead and i can go and watch it!

The chances of catching co-vid 19 are far lower than anything else, Italy just released today's numbers 1000 new cases 150 dead there healthcare must be terrible that or they have as lot of elderly people with health issues, let's be real the governments are to blame not closing travel from China when it got slightly out of hand there now everyone else is paying for it, and I know there totally different viruses but they act the same way and are prevented the same way, as soon as Italy have it under control I don't think it will be to bad as sk China and Iran are gaining control.

If they want to play it behind closed doors they should cast it to Facebook or Twitter so everyone can watch.

There is absolutely nothing unfair about maybe simming the rest of the season based on a form table of how each team has played for autos and relegation.... having said that how would the play offs work

Absolutely agree, but thats where the EFL doing something sensible comes into it!

If they start streaming it people will then go to pubs etc so people will be gathering anyway!

i have no idea what the answer is, but as each day goes by and the media get slightly more hysterical i can see someone making rash or forced decisions!

They aren’t prevented the same way. We have vaccinations for flu and know a reasonable amount about it. We aren’t even sure right now whether you can catch COVID twice or whether you build an immunity to it. We know seasonal flu does down after March/April, we are hoping that’s the case for this but don’t know.

You can’t just close off travel from China at the drop of a hat. Do you realise who makes most of our stuff? Our economy would grind to a halt in days.

China and Iran are two of the most oppressive regimes on the planet. If they couldn’t slow it them frankly western liberal democracies stand no chance. But just because they could doesn’t mean we can the same way.

Easy to say that when were top though i think.

Wycombe could feel incredibly hard done by if Oxford got in playoffs above them, seeing as though they have been in the playoffs all season (pretty much), oxford only just, but based on recent form Oxford have been better. There'll always be some people kicking off with whatever the decision is!

Like I have said compare co-vid 19 to SARS and mers both Corona viruses of the past and they both died off in the summer months, evidence has come.oit of China all but 2 of there makeshift hospitals have closed, everyone has returned to work, give it a few weeks and Italy will be in the same situation, in not completely ignoring the virus but I think it's being somewhat exaggerated.

How would they, if its based on form? That means that most deserving teams would be in the play offs

On the economy, we will go into a recession now anyway with or without closing travel, markets yesterday almost collapsed causing the NYSE to halt all stocks.
