suggesting on Newsnight - Behind closed doors games, with pubs banned from showing games - I think its in the Times tomorrow
No way after 34/44 games they can just scrap the season don’t be silly
Yep, Times reporting that government plan to play behind closed doors with streams for ticket holders. Could be implemented as early as tomorrow morning meaning no crowd for Shrewsbury on Saturday.
Not sure how they can sort the logistics out by Saturday.Yep, Times reporting that government plan to play behind closed doors with streams for ticket holders. Could be implemented as early as tomorrow morning meaning no crowd for Shrewsbury on Saturday.

How do you stop mall pubs showing a hooky stream of a game?suggesting on Newsnight - Behind closed doors games, with pubs banned from showing games - I think its in the Times tomorrow
Unless it’s all blown out of proportion of course, who the hell knowsAll shops closed in Denmark, universities and schools closed in Ireland, matches postponed in other countries, and we are trying to ‘contain’ or whatever they call it- unfortunately I don’t see any way that we are going to have a “normal” end to the season.
Depends what the potential punishment isHow do you stop mall pubs showing a hooky stream of a game?
Saturday's games will have a crowd though
Course it’s not going to be a normal end we all accept thatAll shops closed in Denmark, universities and schools closed in Ireland, matches postponed in other countries, and we are trying to ‘contain’ or whatever they call it- unfortunately I don’t see any way that we are going to have a “normal” end to the season.

You say that about everythingit inevitable
You’re right “it won’t be a normal end to the season” because for the first time in forever we are going to win the league!!!!!All shops closed in Denmark, universities and schools closed in Ireland, matches postponed in other countries, and we are trying to ‘contain’ or whatever they call it- unfortunately I don’t see any way that we are going to have a “normal” end to the season.
Cool story broA 2 week Lockdown is set to be announced, heard this from a well connected Doctor. That will mean everything postponed for 2 weeks.
To be fair, it's illegal for them to stream ifollow already but they aren't fussed.Depends what the potential punishment is
That's what I was asking, smaller pubs will chance itTo be fair, it's illegal for them to stream ifollow already but they aren't fussed.
Are the police going to go to every pub?
For all we know they've already got it ready to go and are just waiting to be told when. Not sure how they can sort the logistics out by Saturday.
Isn't that mainly premier League?Just read the Times article. Good to see football season will be concluded behind closed doors. ifollow it is then from Saturday
I just can't see it coping. For all we know they've already got it ready to go and are just waiting to be told when.
Its done by Endeavor who also do the NFL, NBA, WWE, UFC and loads of other sports. Might be a bit of a delay but couldn't they just route things to servers in other countries as as they won't have any load when EFL games are being played?I can't see how ifollow can physically get that sorted by Saturday. They would need servers, support staff, infrastructure.
UproarWhat if they cancel the season and say bo promotions or relegations?!
I have covid 19 on the back of my shirtBehind closed door games will benefit us surely because St Andrews has seemed semi closer doors all season.
Hoorah! Even the coronavirus is behind us.
What if they cancel the season and say bo promotions or relegations?!
There will be people outside.Be a shame not to win it infront of crowd but winning it is the most importsnt thing!

Denmark has over 500 cases.Complete lock downs had to be the way to go and hopefully things might get back to normal then. It won’t be just footie will be all spectator events apparently there’s more MPs in isolation including a member of Cabinet so it’s not all bad news. Also it’s been revealed Denmark has gone into lock down and they haven’t got one case, what aren’t we being told ?
