He'd struggle. Be good to watch though

More likely Abidal will be sacked and Messi will get a new contract

This has been suggested however apparently Barca don't want it to look like Messi is bigger than the club...

Would love to see him in the prem

Far to many ex players getting big jobs at their ex clubs that they really don’t have the skills for, Cech at Chelsea is the same why do owners think they can go straight from playing to a sporting director role.

Messi will get another improved contract and bye bye Abidal on this occasion though.

Imagine the outrage if they lost Messi due to an argument, he doesn't come out of this very well though. They're in for a tough end to the season, hardly any fit players and those that are fit seem disgruntled.

I heard they've applied for an emergency transfer or loan to help them get by.

They'd never let him leave because of what he's worth in merchandise. One day though his powers will diminish to the point he's not worth letting him do whatever he wants and it will probably all blow up.

Bet Spanish football expert Terry Gibson used every ounce of his experience with us in analysing the situation at Barcelona...

Would love to see him come across here and prove the doubters wrong although I wished he was younger when it happened. Personally can’t see this happening and will be a ‘new deal’ opportunity

Apparently?

His international record is very average. Especially at the world cup.

Better World Cup stats than Ronaldo. Also dragged his team to a World Cup final.

Stats against English sides are superb. 8 in 15 in England against the top sides (so what would he do to the shit ones)

Stats in champions league are superb.

I see you have a poetic way with the truth.

"Ronaldo has seven goals in the World Cup. Messi has six goals in his World Cup career"

I'm not getting dragged into some lousy fan boy argument about Messi V Ronaldo here btw.

But facts are facts.

He's only scored 7 in 16 away games to English sides and only scored in 5 of the 16 games he's played away to English teams. Over 2/3rds of games he's played away to English teams he's drawn a blank.
