Was in a cafe for breakfast in Santa Monica in the 90’s,Guy next to me said your from Cov aren’t you out the blue and showed me a Cov badge on his t shirt.
Also his local was the Red lion in walsgrave strange as it was my local at the time.
He’d been living out there since the late 70’s as a painter and decorator.

In Jamaica a few years back and I was wearing my Cov Shirt.

Random guy from Detroit started talking to me about Cov, how he worked there to run one of the car factories and that he used to live just outside Coventry.

Next minute he introduces his 16year old son.

This is Leamington he says! He was born there!
We call him Lem.
