We will come out the blocks fast and well up for it. A period of chance after chance being missed before conceding a scrappy goal. Fans lose their heads. Players booed off at half time and the second half becomes a damp squid.

Matters made worse the moment McFadzean comes on with a few minutes to go for his first minutes of the season and sees out a 1-0 Blackburn win. I can then sit back and watch everyone spend the next few days adamant that McFadzean should have stayed and would be starting every match.
This is an extremely likely scenario sadly

Don’t understand the hate for Eccles. Seemingly improving on playing the ball up the pitch and always puts in a shift.

For me at the moment he’s the first name on the team sheet.
Fine that’s your opinion mine is he’s not good enough for a side wanting to get promoted. one thing I didn't say was I hate him and I wouldn’t say that about any footballer !!

Looking at what we’ve got and a formation requirement after watching that dross yesterday I would go 10-20-10 , and if that don’t work we really are fucked 🤡

The system needs changing. It just isn't working.

Both wingers (regardless of who's been there) have been totally ineffective and left the full backs exposed.

Striker, far too isolated every time.

Rudoni, totally pointless him playing if he isn't getting on the ball.
The system needed changed last season and then we went on that run Nov-Feb. Thing is we were only really bad last season in 2-3 games up until Nov (Preston, Rotherham, Cardiff).
We’ve been shocking in every game this season except for Oxford and Watford. That’s the difference. I remember losing at Bristol early on last season and we should have been 3-0 up in the first half. We’re not even creating chances.

Nowt wrong with the Isle of Wight Clint. I lived there for 8 years. I loved telling people that I lived overseas. When they asked where, and I said the IOW, they'd say that's not overseas! I would then reply, "You try walking there!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Used to have a weekend of excess there every year mate, too old for it now!

Simms was on his own, as he has been for every game. Same for Basette, when he played alone. It doesn't work. You need Wright on the left, to get near Simms..It was exactly the same last year, until Robins played, the 2 together, then it clicked. Play Assante on the right, Saka still recovering, physically and mentally. Those 3 scored over 50 goals, last year. More direct, those 3 would cause chaos

His job as a lone striker is to move down the channels, get the ball and hold it, bully and work defenders. He’s doing none of that. He is passive and clumsy. Godden was never a striker suited to one up front but he never shirked it and ran and ran

2-1 City. The difference between winning and losing this game is absolutely huge from a supporters perspective.
A scrappy win will do .

Not predicting anything , just don't know what to expect tbh

big 5 days ahead, starting tuesday.
need 4 points min, really.
2 big defeats, and a continuation of these chaotic performances, would be difficult to ignore.

2-0 win incoming- one early and the other late on.

Saying that really only to offset the cacophony of dire predictions of a home hammering which is depressing me 😁

1-0 win…weirdly optimistic. Taking the wife and we usually lose when I do. But this is a nailed on win people.

Those optimistic people out there , please look at the Leeds performance.
We alarmingly are going in the opposite direction, that we all hoped we would be .
Forget the cup game , the very lucky win & half a game at Watford , as we’ve been dire & even IF we show up on Tuesday night , this would be papering over some massive cracks , as , as a team we have no football structure anymore !
I’m at a loss as to the seeming growing problem & worry what Doug’s next move might be .

Rubbish, we just need a win - don't care how we get it and if we finish with 6 points from two home games before the next break things are looking a lot more rosy and a sense of normality can kick in

It’s got to turn around at some point, hopefully It’s Tuesday, wev‘e not been that bad at home, we’re making enough chances to win every game, need to start putting a few away
How many chances did we create against Norwich & Swansea ,I can't remember too many.

funnily enough even though we are desperate to stop the rot i don’t care as much about the result as i do the performance.

If we lose but show some fight i’d prefer that than the same whimpering shite we showed against leeds and scraping a win
Beyond a few players I don’t see that fight in this group. Maybe they just don’t give a shit that they’re putting the manager ever closer to the sack with their weak performances.

What are you saying here- we should all be looking for a home defeat?

I don’t get it
