i was confident we'd get something from Leeds, we all knew how that went, but i am equally as confident against these, yes they're doing well... they wont stay there, and we wont stay where we are.

my only concern is how much we are changing the team, need consistency BUT i dont think the Leeds team was the one we need to stick with... for a few games i'd go

Dovin

Milan
Thomas
Binks
Bidwell

Sheaf
Eccles
Rudoni

Saka
Simms
Wright

2.1 win

Yeah, they have been pretty "meh" the 2 times I saw them on tv and unless something has recently changed they are massively outperforming their xg. So yeah, lets hope the revert to type.

They are a very hardworking team. At the moment, we are not. Our quality is far better, but without desire I feel as if it will be a difficult night.

It's a kinda must win one isn't it or the pressure racks up more. Either the players wilt under the pressure or we get a good start and go on to a win. If we win I think we can go on a run of games to move up to the top 6. Lose and we almost certainly going to see some changes around the place that the manager is not happy with.
2.0 to City

Our season usually starts in October, so think we will win this 2-1 (we don’t do clean sheets anymore).

I remember that season in the Prem where we didn't win a match until December. Newcastle at home (night match) I'm not going to look. I think we then won 3 on the spin including Leeds away.
96/97, the season of the Great Escape.

I remember only bits of the match, but Darren Huckerby was on loan at that point and was such a breath of fresh air - aggressively charging at defenders, jinking past them, and when he would turn the afterburners on it was amazing.

Sorry got this wrong. I have had a look.
We beat Leeds 2-1 in September our next win was indeed December 17th v Newcastle. We then went on to win the next 3 as well. Including another win away at Leeds. Leicester & Boro made up the quartet of wins.

His pace. It was wow when you saw it.

Any keeper
Any arrangement of defenders
Eccles, Sheaf, Rudoni
Sakamoto, Bassette, Wright

Someone said on a Cov podcast that Simms is like a useless plodding teddy bear, no aggression or passion, and I agree completely. He was brilliant last season and I was really supportive of him even before he started going on a scoring spree, but this season he seems quiet and out of sorts, like all our players tbh.

Bassette is one of the few that looks like he wants to play and score and for that reason alone should be starting ahead of Simms.

Anyone know what’s going on with Rodrigues btw? Really hoping he can add something to our lacklustre team.

Stood on the hill at Northampton too many times fearing where my beloved team were heading . Will be an awfully long time before I sharpen the knife towards the man who has given me more pride and joy in my club in the following years .
Expectations and entitlement are a dangerous marriage and I'm guilty every season but however despondent I feel Robins has earned time and trust from us all
