Don’t know what I’m more pleased for, the win or that I don’t need to hear about gossip at the hairdressers, Claire, Doug interfering, Adi or Dennis

edit: until atleast Saturday

Willingness to press high makes such a difference. Like the way Thomas-Asante can shoot with little back lift - affects the defender and keeper getting set. Mason-Clark's assist was appreciated by team mates. Should give him confidence.
Ben Wilson's handling in difficult conditions was excellent. Added bravery to his game. Fair play to him.

BTA must get run in the team. Persevere with Kitching and Thomas, the game time should iron out the rough edges. Haji? Bloke is a complete enigma. Last game Sunday League, tonight Premier League and fuck knows which version we get next
Thought we got Sunday league and Premier league in the one game tonight. Got some simple things wrong but then accelerates past people effortlessly. Definitely an enigma.

Absolutely bizarre game. 3 main positives 1 negative. BTA’s energy made a massive difference, MVE/Rudoni/Wright are top notch champ quality, we played like we wanted it. Negative, some crazy moments in defence especially 1st half.

He even snuck in a few Sunday league moments tonight amongst the many good things!

One of the worst crosses you'll see in the first half and then in the second half temporarily forgetting how to put one foot in front of the other. He's an entertaining watch that's for sure.

DDefenders can't cope with him running at them.

Only downside was injury to Sakamoto but hopefully doesn't look too bad.

Kitching and Thomas looked nervy but have to stick with them now.

Finally a good team performance.

Midfield and attack looked so much more joined together. The link ups were better. Great games from Haji and BTA. Rudoni’s best performance of the season too. People don’t like EMC but I think he was solid too.
only a few morons on here can't see that EMC is going to be a real player for us. the temptation to write our players off just amazes me - obviously a minority but it's there.

Dr Roberts gets a couple days break from the misogyny and bizarre speculation about how she’s ruining the club.

Women being held accountable for the role they are paid to do is misogyny now. Can’t treat them the same as everyone else, poor dears.

People banging on about whether they’d fuck Joy or what handbags she’s buy was misogyny. Saying “the performances under this new performance director are shit” isn’t.

Eccles was everywhere tonight. Another great performance. Back line bar MvE were poor again but fuck it they weren’t needed because the midfield turned up. Also finally played a flatter midfield three and it worked.
How were they 'poor'? A few misplaced balls early on but they gave nothing away at all when balls came into the box. Wilson didn't have a save to make.

Brilliant performance that will hopefully shut up people like me.

Just need to carry it forward, hopefully same line up against Wednesday

Several absolute shockers first half aside they defended the box well, but on the ball they’re so so bad aside from MvE.
