What an utterly dreadful post .
If they had won tonight you would have had them as automatic candidates, clown
No chance they are hopeless just watch them fall they haven’t a single player that would get in our team.

Burnley Leeds will be at the top they will be bottom half and probably bottom five.

Agree but it could've been oh so different if that first minute chance is taken. Nice rub of the green for a change and we deserved it, but with fragile confidence that win was bigger than the three points and a clean sheet too should give everyone a lift.
Confidence was so evident tonight. First half was shambolic at times , I can't remember how many passes went straight to a Blackburn player . Once we scored the second we oozed more class and composure .

Wilson is first choice moving forward.

This might be unfair on Eccles (and the rest) who I thought was great but I thought Sheaf was the difference tonight.

Not only did he make vital decisions but I think he gives Eccles more confidence.

First half it could have gone either way, second half we were far better.

A win, 3 points, fantastic. Against Spurs, I thought that would kick start us. Tonight they finished them off and won.

I'm really happy tonight, let's goooooo

I think they will be 10th-14th if I'm honest . It looked like they expected an easy night and we're shocked how aggressive and front foot we were

Best thing about the win; every thread on here won’t descend into the over dramatic, the world is ending, overly negative nonsense, we’ve had to put up with recently.

At least until Saturday.

It wasn’t about being overly negative or dramatic.
Today’s performance shows that most of the criticism on here was justified.

When the players show effort, they get praise. When they show laziness, they get criticism.
I don’t think that is strange

Would love to know how long the ball was either in Wilson possession, waiting for him to collect or down being injured, must've been close on 10 minutes. Would infuriate the he'll out of me if that was opposition keeper and when you take his outstanding away performance versus them finished off with a dodgy goal, Blackburn must absolutely hate him!

Was brilliant seeing that show pony Cantwell take the bait 🤣🤣

No coincidence that performance came with our first choice midfield. People like to do Wilson dirty but he brings more to the team that just his goalkeeping ability. Personally wouldn't have dropped Dovin but that's why Robins gets the big bucks.

Thought Sheaf allowed us to play Eccles and Rudoni wider and cover the fullbacks which left us options up front. Energy from the front line was a different level. I was surprised he brought Simms and not Bassette on TBH. I think Lati can manage that sitting in front of the back two role better than being one of a double pivot with Eccles and Eccles is better with a bit more freedom.

Defence just needs to settle now. They’re all much of a muchness so stick with the first set to get a clean sheet for now.

Same again Saturday and then a fortnight to train off the back of a more positive week and we might just kick on.

Any game Wilson isn’t booked is a game he hasn’t wasted enough time.

19th, they will lose a lot of games with that side.
Before tonight (and they've played few decent teams) they were 3rd, unbeaten and conceded 6 goals in 7 games. They looked poor, but press hard well organised and won't give up much. Not progressive enough to hang onto play offs but think they'll be just in top 10.

For all the stick Lati gets on here he must have something about him . He gets given the captaincy , gets used a lot off the bench when not selected and you don't see many of his team mates give him stick .
He's not the most exciting player in any of his roles but he rarely lets us down

Agree. He's vocal, he organises, he wastes tome and he snuffs out damger so that he doesn't have to make some saves. Regularly falls on the ball Pickford style too and pretends to pick it up etc similar. Both at Sunderland too back in the day must've has same teacher.

The MR Out stuff and some of the conspiracy theories were over dramatic and negative in my view.

That was like watching a completely different team to Saturday.
Exactly what was needed. The result was the icing on the cake, but the most important thing was the level of effort.

I feel relieved after that. As on Saturday I honestly felt like Robins had lost the dressing room. Tonight though the team played out of their skin for their manager.

I think this will be the turning point
Is that you saying you're not going to fuck off to do something else for another 9 years?

BTA was quality tonight. Triggered the press. Sheaf orchestrated and organised… a clean sheet great for the CBs but I do wonder if a Binks / Kitching pairing would work in terms of more comfort on the ball (albeit both left footed).

I think 90% of pre match posters need to come on here and apologise. Robins out, Wilson dropped (forever), Bidwell who?, etc etc. I’ve never felt so happy since reading a book with them bad reviews but knowing the happy ending. I look forward to the Sheffield Wednesday thread 😉.
