Christ, he needs to get one of those things so it beeps when he reverses so people can watch out while he is doing his 3 point turns.

How should we trust his judgement? If one minute he thinks he isn't good enough, the next he is a model pro. One play is the best finisher ever, but he is sat on the bench.

When Pressley says, 'there is no one out there better than him' I think he missed off, '..... that would accept £50 per week wages which is the top end of our wage cap'

or

'I want him to stay as he is one of the only players that just dislikes me, not hates me'

must be pissing the players off too not knowing if they have a future at the club or need to find a new club

If Madine is gone, then why not let Tudgay play and get Madine sent back? No point him being sat doing nothing and then suddenly be needed when Madine goes.

Or better still, stop playing Nouble out of position on the left wing and play him upfront.

Tudgays performance against Walsall was the best striker performance any of our players have given this season so I'm quite pleased he's staying, his experience really shone through that day.

does that mean fisher has said "sorry stephen we have once again left it too late to bring any players in and all that's left is the shite no one else wants so you'll have to make do with tudgay"

Madine imo hasn't done enough to justify us paying a fee, if we could get him on a deal similar to Nouble I'd go for it but otherwise leave him.

To be fair to Tudgay, Miller and several others.. they haven't been given a suitable run in the first team whatsoever. Madine has pretty much been an ever present, no-one else has been afforded that opportunity.

True, but he hasn't been given the service either and has spent most of the time playing as a lone striker. If there's no fee I'd sign him. I haven't been impressed with Nouble either.

Haha, every target we had In January has laughed at us so loud SW has had to take the last three days of due to burst ear drums. therefore after careful consideration it has been decided that Tudgay is after all made of the right stuff and has the DNA we are looking for. Any previous statements made regarding the player are withdrawn and we look forward to building a positive team around our new Pele Marcus "The miracle" Tudgay. PUSB!!!!!!

I think that's how that translates.

How long is a suitable run? Tudguy started the first 6 games and didn't look like he was ever going to score.

It's a fair point, Miller should be given a chance imo. I see he scored again for the U21s. Tudgay looks as if he could be amazing one game and then truly awful the next 4 or 5.

It to me suggests very little coming In
The nine out looks less likely too
So do we read SP Is on dodgy ground from above and his (choices) are being limited in case of ejection?

If Tudgay plays like he did against Walsall, I don't see no problem in him staying. Madine hasn't once played as good for us as Tud did that day.

You have to laugh. So has he just changed his mind again, Madine off or did he have a replacement lined up and it's fallen through?

it could be as whole combination of reasons all listed in this thread but a hell of a lot of fans we're calling Pressley for
dropping him after Walsall although Injured
It may be simply be like a few others no one wants to take off our hands

Does anyone listen to talk sport when they do the daily Arsenal ??

I'm sure we could do a thread on here called the daily Coventry is predictable comedy supporting city.

So he pisses off a player by telling him to move on, and then retracts that and says es going nowhere? Make ya bloomin mind up!

After Walsall it didn't sound like Tudgay wanted to stay and was set on leaving. What will his approach be now? Feel wanted, or feel second best and see out his contract?

Problem throughout his career is he a half decent player who every now and then puts in a good performance,, he is not a good player that is out of form. Also SP should learn to keep his thoughts to himself until a player is out the door if he wants rid.. The u turns will make the players less confident in what they think his plans are and what he is doing...

“I can’t let Marcus go because there’s no-one out there better than him,” - so glad we have a masterful scout silver tongued tactical wizard in charge if only we could tie him down to a 4 year deal :jerkit: how much more of his shit do we have to put up with before he fucks off

Been to every home game this season that Tudgay has played in and he has simply gone through the motions. Doesn't have the pace, ability nor inclination . And he's boring.

So. He either wouldn't agree to cancel his contract by mutual consent. We couldn't give him away. Or we couldn't sign a replacement forward.

I hope he goes out and proves his worth by taking us out of the relegation battle but...

If I were Pressley I'd not say anything. He's probably not the first manager to change his mind but he is silly for doing it in public.
