Massive game for us as we need to close that gap with the teams just outside the playoffs. Lose and we'll be 11 points behind Bristol. Looks like they are brining 3K aswell as only a few tickets left. Sales in the home end not that great at the moment.

More chance of shitting £20 notes than play offs. Face it, best we can aim for tihs year is top half

You’re right I think we’re not gonna show up and just offer them the 3 points, as we’re gonna complain to the FA about the referee’s not protecting our players causing injuries

Depends, Forest managed it in a tougher championship. Its all about momentum and consistency, which granted we have none, but when Haji and EMC come back we could find some, with a first choice back 5 found and 2 of our army of forwards scoring you never know

If Haji and EMC were fit and available now, then it would still be a optimistic target. Fact is we wont see either of them on the pitch for a couple of weeks at the earliest. Probably another 3 or 4 games down the line.

We said that for the first 10 games waiting for Sheaf to start playing football.

I would seriously consider playing Eccles RWB.
MVE is going to end up injured if he doesn't get a break in my opinion.
Leeds used to play 60 games a season back in the day.
On shit pitches & what a team they were all 12 of them !!
MVE clearly wants to play the minutes he does ; another reason why he is sought after by other clubs.

11 points off the top 6, 6 above the bottom 3 yet talk of still trying to make the playoffs is reasonable whereas clearly relegation is off the table.

Astonishing arrogance on here sometimes
At the moment, I would say, we're not in a relegation battle. We're also not in contention for a top 6 place either.

Win 3 or 4 on the trot and that could change. Same thing on the flip side, if we were to lose say 3 in a row.

Let's just concentrate on getting up the league table and bagging as many points as we can to be well away from any possible relegation troubles

Valid point, just more hope than anything would love something to come from this season
Don't get me wrong, we could go on a run and win 5 on the bounce (and I hope we do!). We look a bit less fragile now but I can't see a miraculous spring up the table.

I think Steve Cooper had Forrest going at over 2 points a game when he was there, when he took over weren't on a point after 10 games or something?

And that is why some players from that era ended up struggling to walk or with Alzheimers. There is a reason Vic doesn't head the ball much for a centre forward.
Give a player an injection and send him out was the norm, along with try to cripple the opposition. Pele playing against Argentina in the 1966 World Cup comes to mind. That was not football.
That is why so many clubs rotate these days.
70s and 80s footballers were a load of pissheads, even our 1987 cup winning team.

Gentleman Bobby Charlton for example would be surprised to hear he was a "piss head".
Not sure he touched a drop. I'm sure there were many like him in that respect.

Our fortunes rest a lot on Wright returning to form promptly. Have we even been in the top half this season?

But Bryan Robson, George Best & Jimmy Greaves were legendary piss heads.

Brazil didn't play Argentina in the 1966 world cup they played Portugal Hungary and Bulgaria
