And what about out of possession? Given we've been conceding for fun? We've kept 2 clean sheets in the 7 league games Bidwell has started this season. And we moan about lack of experience and leaders.

Bidwell is as poor as the others tbh. Binks is OK defensively and likes to bomb on I think he’s be fine at LB and better in the air and with the ball than Bidwell.

I don't get the obsession with Binks, he's been poor defensively, I don't get why you would shoehorn him in out of position at left back ahead of playing Bidwell.
We have built up this thing in our heads he is some sort of incredible defender just cause he laid one on Bruno Fernandes at Wembley

I wouldn't have batted an eyelid had we not signed him back permanently tbh

We need to do some serious work on our throw ins ..agree the sense of urgency to get the ball back in play is poor
Probably ruled out on the percentages by coaches somewhere, retain the ball, least effort in doing so, or something stupid like that. But it's always been that way hasn't it?

A lowlight of the last 2 matches has been the inexplicable poor performances of Eccles.
No workrate ! As a minimum he normally at least provides that.
Since signing his contract he has disappeared.
Got to say that was s was my impression too!

To be fair as well, in the Robins system, he kind of played at left back anyway positionally as MVE would come back to form a back four while Rudoni would almost be a winger

My mate pointed out that the little fella for Catdiff ( Siopsis?) was running the game for Cardiff in the second half. Once he mentioned it, I realised he was right. The lanky bleached haired substitute made a right nuisance of themselves too. They looked fresher than us ( despite us having 24hrs more rest), and I did wonder if a few of ours had used up a bit more energy trying to impress in the new Lampard training sessions? Probably nonsense, but did wonder.

Everyone always looks fresher than us. Fittest squad ever my arse.

In fairness Robins lost both of his first games for us I think, certainly didn't win them anyway
I looked this up the other day. Think we lost the first 3 without scoring.

didn’t do us any harm in the long run…. I’m sure our form under robins by the end of that season was mid table.

the damage was done before he came

Not even thinking about judging Lampard until the new year TBH. And even then he’ll only have had two free midweeks since starting. Not a huge amount of training time.
