I am pretty sure that people were watching the game. I saw them before the game kicked off, then I watched the game, then I went home.

People aren't complaining and crying, they are suggesting they could be covered up or a ccfc flag over the top which is obviously what TM is trying to do everywhere as well.

I doubt it ruined anybody's night, that game was the first since they were there so it would be mentioned whether we won or lost. Would it be ok if we had lost to mention it?

It didn't change that the game was good, not sure why people don't grasp that. I am pretty sure if people had put SISU signs up people would have had something to say about it.

You're talking to Balanced Tony now. He's trying to reinvent himself as some sort of wise owl. Clocked it in a few threads.

We need to understand why we can't customise it.
I know that any CCFC stuff has to be take. Down after the match. But what is it we can't leave up and is it because we pay a small rent or will be leaving ?

It's because your favourite rugby team are still desperately trying hard to make it look like they belong in Coventry.

I'm pretty sure that if the club had something to put in place it wouldn't be an issue. Can't be that expensive to get some mats made.

It'd be a start. Practically we'd need someone to put them down and pick them up each game mind, and they'd need to (I assume) be fixed enough players wouldn't hurtle through them and slide.

Given the finances, volunteers to move them in and out pre and post game...?

I've recevied an email back from the club, they said they shared my concerns for all the reason I've stated. They didn't know they would be there and were surprised to see them when they arrived at the Ricoh. The matter was brought up on the night with the stadium operators and in the days after the game. Should be resolved for Southend match.

Doesn't seem a particular difficult job, even the ball boys or groundsman could just do it before the match when they go out and remove them at the end and take them back in with them.

More efficiency from the club, its making me nervous all this doing things properly!

The should just put some of this round the edge of the pitch
