Really need a win here.

FL landing has been generally well received as fans accept we can’t change the past and the club comes first. But he won’t get the same leeway as MR.

So a poor result against a terrible Hull team and it’s going to re-ignite discussions around his appointment, MR sacking, players being shit etc etc etc.

We need a win to start to bring back the feel good and an upward trajectory on and off the pitch.

I have this pair of lucky boxers. They are unbeaten. They made their debut versus 4-1 Fulham.
They have since won everytime on about 4 or even 5 occasions.
Can't wear them every match that would never work.
I noticed this morning they are 2nd from top of my pile which means they will get the nod on Saturday.

Would love to see us just play with the shackles off. On the front foot, with intent and with some pace.

Fed up this ponderous slow football where the majority of our possession is Bobby Thomas on the ball at walking pace.

We've seen what we can do when we play with some intent - Luton, second half v Millwall etc - we look a threat.

And for the love of God get that traffic cone out of goal.

Dovin

MVE - Thomas - Kitching - Dasilva

Eccles - Torp

Sakamoto - Rudoni - EMC

Simms

- MVE needs a rest but there's literally no one else.
- Everyone else has had a go so it's probably Kitching's turn now
- Don't think Bidwell is ready to play 3 games in a week after coming back from injury (and he wasn't great last night anyway)
- Sheaf needs a rest
- Get Simms back in

Dovin
MVE, Thomas, Kitching, Bidwell
Sheaf, Torp, Rudoni
Tats, Simms, EMC

Just fucking win. Please!
I'd just put Bass in with Simms to come on after about 70, besides that you can't argue with that lineup. We just need them to have confidence and not all be off form as they were vs West Brom. Divin Dovin would make a big difference from can't catch collins.

Please can we see Dovin , Kitching & Simms starting thus removing the weakest links . These 3 are surely an improvement on those they are replacing. I would start Torp in place of Eccles too.

Be interesting to see how Hull respond to Ruben Selles, especially as he was touted on here as a possible manager. Hopefully not too well!

Don’t even care if you shit yourself wearing them, don’t take them off for the rest of the season.

Last night was no way near as bad as people make out.

Away from home against an effective team, played some decent football, created some good chances. Just lacked the composure to put them away and lost concentration for the second goal. Play similarly against Hull and we win 4-3 I think.

Happy to start with Simms but he needs to give it some.

It is a must win and the players should start treating games that way. It feels a bit like they believe that things will turn a corner but don't necessarily think it needs a bit more effort and guile to get there.

I think some of our fans think we will turn a corner . I hope they are correct but can't see it happening at the moment.

If we don't beat Hull then all the players can all fuck off.We need 3 points against a shit side we have only played well in a few games this season out of 21.Lati on the bench please he's a liability has no aggression to be a defender and is to slow to put anywhere else on the pitch.

Since our promotion to the Championship we have never beaten Hull at home.

Frank is going to have to overhaul this atrocious record we have against 6 of the Championship clubs (25% of the entire division ) since our return to the Championship.

Played 40
Won 3
Drawn 12
Lost 25

The 6 clubs are Preston, Swansea, Norwich, West Brom, Luton and Hull.

Let us hope Saturday will start the process of reversing results against our bogey teams.

Yeah my concern is that we're playing in such a way that there's enough underlying data (xG etc) to convince the coaching staff that nothing is fundamentally wrong and it's only a matter of time before our luck changes. Which I can stomach after 10 games, but not after 20.
