I do believe some of these players are in a last chance saloon in terms of how much slack they’ve been cut and how much patience they have been shown

If we don’t win Saturday I can see it getting very toxic towards the squad
Already seems a bit toxic to be honest. Maybe it’s just who I’m sat next to mind.

I’m not normally one for superlatives, but tomorrow is a huge game. Win, and we give ourselves some space from the bottom - lose, or even draw, and we’re hanging around in the mire..and, as others have said, the crowd becomes a bit restless/ toxic.

I’m hoping we start with Saka-Simms-Mason Clark up top. Simms needs a run of games and fingers crossed, he comes good again. Torp to start also and I’d like to see Kitching in too.

Mildly optimistic at the moment …3-1 win.

All players have a run of bad form, MVE was so unlucky not to score on Wednesday but for one of our players deflecting it wide.

Nothing wrong with a player having enthusiasm is what the fans like to see.
And at the other end Eccles gets the opposite effect, sods law.
I actually think he should have been more definite in his action, it appeared reticent in application when it needed to be full on, almost like he was trying to avoid making contact rather than full on clearance, and that was probably two minds and following an instruction?

BTA must be thanking his lucky stars that he didn't sign for Hull. Kitching, Dovin, Torp and Simms all to start for me

Agree with that, Lampards come in and is trying to get something out of the same players robins couldn’t, robins had Collins as our 3rd choice for a reason, I’d totally change things up a bit, def go with dovin and id even give Allen a run, did well along side sheaf least season for a good run of games, surely 2 up front can’t hurt at home, back to a 442, we can’t play with one up front, got away with it with gykores but simms and Bassette can’t do it,

Agree with that, and I'd also play Eccles at RB as MvE desperately needs a rest.

we have to be looking for 3 points tomorrow. need to start positively, and get at them.
4 big games coming up that will surely determine if we are looking up or looking down for the rest of the season.
