Good effort from the team today given the context of an emotionally and physically draining FA Cup semi final at the weekend.

At 2-2, we should’ve won the game but we had nothing after Sheaf came off. We look lost in midfield without him.

However, that does not excuse the defence and Collins for gifting 3 goals. Thomas looked tired and his passing in the second half went downhill.

We can plan for next season now because our season is all hit over now.

You know what I mean, we were lucky we had 2 layers playing at a level we didn't expect of them.

You said sorry about your Callum O'Hare comments?
One comment and I did. Interesting that nobody hounds a poster calling Kelly a coward but them’s the breaks.

And I’m sorry but take good players out of any team and of course they won’t do as well. Why do Gyo and Hamer invalidate the end result?

I think recency bias is at play here. Collins first was a shocker. The third was more Thomas’ fault TBH, the ball was criminally underhit.

I genuinley can't remember moore having the worst display ever against Wrexham.? I know he didn't save one that was straight at him kind of but apart from that what else did he do ?

poor excuse though, we’ve had three days to recover - lots of teams play midweek / weekend / midweek, in fact Hull played last Saturday so only a day more rest

So a full day's extra rest after a game they played 33% less minutes. Of course it's a valid reason!

Robins said tonight that O'Hare ran 17k on Sunday. Normally I guess he'd be around 10k. That's a huge difference.

The players were dead on their feet on Sunday, some couldn't even make it for tonight and those that did looked very tired by the end.

I can't believe anyone can say just because they're professional footballers they should have been able to play like normal this evening.

So surely they will still be tired at blackburn then

I can actually buy into the idea that mistakes happen and a GK is far more involved with his feet than his hands in a game.

But Collins distribution has gone to shit as well. Just achingly slow to release the ball and never seems to complete a pass that’s not to CBs any more.
He seems flat footed and languid, case in point for the third. A "sharp" keeper is aware and puts his foot through the ball clearing everything.
He just looks off it. Cost us (ridiculously - as average as we were) three points tonight.
At least a point against Southampton too.
He isn't the answer and that becomes more apparent the more games he plays.

There's people telling him he is talking shit.

We were not meant to be that far along yet but they were far better than expected.

There was no way we could replace Vik with a player even half as good as he is proving to be and this was a season you had us going down in december and january.

You get reactionary when city lose, it hurts us all but you do massively over react.

Fatigue is a woke snowflake plot by the lamestream media.

I guess the better question is , just how fatigued have we been for weeks , considering we've been fucking shit for weeks and everybody keeps saying it's because we're tired

United won 4-2 tonight

I think lots of players hit a wall five or six games ago. I said this a while ago about how we’ve a lot of players who aren’t used to that many games. Even Godden, who has hardly played, I think has played more than last season. Wright MvE and Saka used to fewer games at a lower tempo abroad, Torp coming off the back of a season, etc etc. Simms and Thomas being proper first teamers at their club for the first time. Palmer actually playing. All adds up.

I don't think it had anything to do with substitutions. The best football we played was in the second half and came to an abrupt ending as soon as the winner went in. Despite some bizarre goal gifting, we were still well in it until The Barnsley Boys decided to give Hull an extra goal to win the game. I would even go as far as to say if it wasn't for that we had a good chance to go on and win ourselves. The momentum was with us and they were resulting to shithousing due to being under pressure. As soon as that goal went in our heads dropped, and it looked like all we wanted was the referee to blow the final whistle and put an end to the season.

Agreed, the team was a spent force tonight which was a concern going into tonight. That doesn’t excuse Thomas back passes.

Collins was 100% at fault for goal number one, but not number 3.
5/6 quality additions and we will be good next year

its the defence for me though, be interesting who’s the starting back 3

wright and simms will be deadly next year, wouldn’t want to face them mason Clark sakamoto

Palmer has no future at this club imo, has to be moved on in the Summer

He’s so far down the list of issues and is obviously going to be backup to whoever we replace O’Hare with, I don’t get this kind of comment. Same as people desperate to sell Lati or Dasilva. We’ve got a tiny squad, people need to stop wanting to sell everyone who isn’t in their first XI

United won 4-2 tonight

They were playing the leagues whipping boys !!!

We had a ref who gave a pen when foul that was outside the area and two howlers.

Wilson he never let us down multiple times in a game like that. That’s definitely the worst goalkeeping display I’ve ever seen in a coventry shirt.

I'm not sure it's relevant tbh
how? They played a team that has conceded 92 goals this season and could very likely ship 100 by the end of the end of the season, all this while actually be 6thin the PL

we played a team who re 1 place above us in the league

You can't compared the 2 games

if we'd played Rotherham then you may have a point
