Did anyone expect much different?

Binks, JDS, Eccles and Saka had to start given the fixture congestion. Good that MVE finally gets a rest

Not sure why Bassette isn’t in though.

Ok, I don't want to hear people moaning if we get stuffed, I hope I'm wrong but I can't see it.

A full house and they put out a team like that. 🙈

Given Bassette kicked up a storm to get out of Caen, can’t imagine he’s happy playing the role of time wasting sub now!

Because no thought was given to this match when locking the team for the last one. A naive move from our elite coaching set up.

i was looking for a stream as I can’t be there. I might just not bother.

But he’d die for this club StP!

It could end up been an odd 433
Dovin
Lati Thomas Kitching Binks
Eccles Allen JDS
Sakamoto BTA Rudoni

But think more likely to be 541

More worried about Lati RWB than JDS LWB. The latter is covered by Kitching which we have seen work well (or at least better than Binks). Lati has no pace and at WB there’s so much space behind to cover, so either he’s a sitting RWB or we’re in trouble.

Also concerned re BTA. Literally everything came back on Wednesday as he can’t hold the ball up and his technique is poor.

And behind him Sakamoto and Rudoni are the attacking/creative options so I hope it’s more the box than both playing wide.

Perhaps it’s a replication of MR’s be solid for 45 and then go for it second half.

Still fancy us.

Eccles RWB and Lati in the middle, or vice versa? Good to see some rested. It's a shame Grimes is tied, eager to see more of him based on his cameo against Leeds. I thought Bassette may have gotten a start today actually.

Think in possession he’ll form the back four and JDS push high to LW opposite of that Bidwell and MvE do

Has anyone got a serious explanation for why you’d pick two keepers and not just name fewer subs or stick a random kid in?

Isn't it usually when someone fails a fitness test or gets ill / injured overnight? Otherwise it's just weird.

Has anyone got a link to anywhere online where it can be viewed live please?

Late drop out but also it doesn’t really matter, extra goalie or a kid, neither will play.

9 subs fools people into thinking some are closer to the first team than they actually are.

Get a sold out game and we play a side like that. Takes the piss out of everyone paying
Tuesday is way more important, and if the attitude is right (see Orient against Man City) we could still cause an upset. Even with our strongest team, against Szmodics, Philogene, Jack Clarke etc, we might still have got done. Correct decision to rotate imo.

We were all saying during the transfer window that we needed cover for MVE to rest him / in case he got injured. We need him for the league. Same with Simms, Bidwell and Torp whilst EMC, Wright and Sheaf are out

Just think a kid would get more from the experience but maybe not.
