O'Hare on the left for me for his work rate tracking back. Him and Palmer can interchange - smart enough between them to keep us covered. Torp to come on with 15 mins left and hit the winner.

Lati has been decent at centre mid despite it not appearing to be his natural position, but I don’t believe for a minute he “offers more” than Eccles.
It's ridiculous to claim Latibeaudiere offers more than Eccles in midfield. Eccles has been our best midfield player and one if our best players this season. He is excellent positionally and rarely gives the ball away. He's not Hamer level but he is an important player for us and will continue to be going forward.

So 29500 then.

That's the fourth game in the row that's been sold out to home fans but with thousands of empty seats.

Thousands of unsold £37 tickets is adding up.

Doug and the SAG need to get that away end opened up to home fans.

And that loss of revenue could be the difference in keep hold of Callum

Not sure Torps coming straight in even on the bench but hey it would be good to say hello when 2-0 up

All about opinions but for me Latibeaudiere over Eccles everytime.
Really baffled how you think Eccles rarely gives the ball away. Watch the first 10 mins of the Oxford game, MR was fuming with him as he gave the ball away 3 times in the first 10 mins.

Eccles has not been our best midfielder this year. Statistically, Sheaf has been.

Eccles has been good defensively, but not as good as Sheaf. In terms of chances created, Eccles edges out Sheaf but bearing mind he’s a corner taker, you’d expect that.

In fairness to both Sheaf and Eccles, their numbers are up from last season. That’s a credit to both them, but neither Eccles nor Sheaf will the void left by Hamer. Who, incidentally, was crucial to how we like to play (and still do). Victor Torp will have been brought in to start in that CM role over time.

It's very close statistically. The thing is, a lot of people talk like one is premier league class, the other league 1 standard. The further calls to play Latibeaudiere kind of demonstrates that...

They are both very good players in truth. Similar abilities and important for us. We've conceded a lot of goals due to Sheaf's mistakes though. That's something essentially never seen in the statistics. I still think he's a really important player, but so is Eccles, and I think it's time to start viewing them in a more equal way. I agree with you about the Hamer void though, whilst good players, there's still a spot missing there. Hopefully Torp is going to add to that!

A win for us or a draw, as Enzo has won December MOTM.

Haji defo out for tomorrow. The full presser is on iFollow now. Says he’s doing ok but hasn’t trained. Says symptoms are minimal and should be less time than the original scan results

Kudos to Clive eakin prior to our midlands derby with top of the league, asking the gaffer on the low sun and how it may affect the game.

fair play Clive.

Filbert Street - Plastic tent.png

My hatred of Leicester stems from being a kid, and City not being on the TV much as the featured game. ( big understatement )

Leicester had this big inflatable tent over the pitch that they blew hot air into, to keep the ground playable in hard frost.
This meant that they seemed to have a disproportionate coverage on ITVs Star Soccer during the winter.
I hated hearing Hugh Johns announcing that he was at Filbert Street (again) and bigging up their plastic tent for the 100th time

Seeing their makeshift ground on TV, the orange ball,
and then to top it off Keith Weller wearing white tights under his kit,
proved to me at a young age that Leicester in my eyes would always be an egg chasing town,
and not a footballing City

pull yourselves together, we'll be fine with palmer on the wing

and it sounds like if he doesn't play a part he won't be out for any real period of time

Wilson again didn’t wear a hat when at the sunny end against Oxford - he certainly didnt see the ball going in the goal

Pity we can’t go at them full strength, but they’re also missing quite a few. Will be interesting regardless

think our full backs will have to do a lot of defending. Cant have Madvidi and Fatawu running 1 on 1 v Kitching/Binks and Thomas. If we can limit them in those spaces i think we have a great chance. Theyre missing Vardy, Ndidi, Iheanacho and Daka so i'd argue we will have a stronger bench

Haji is a massive loss. He's involved in most goals. Granted, we scored 6 against Oxford but Leicester are another level. Hardly conceded any all season.

I think he'll go for the same set up as against Leeds. Let Simms do the work up top.

if he does then that is stupid and robins isn't stupid. He's not going to go ultra defensive because i player is out

it'll be the same as oxford but with thomas, and eccles back in
