I don't mind it if binks or kithcing can get forward a lil more than you would expect

Not sure about saka as 10 tho

Prefer it 433 with lati as DM and kithcibg or binks as standard LB

Am I the only one who doesn't mind that line-up?

We can't allow ourselves to get bullied.

Let's wait and see. It might work. We won't know until the game kicks off

Robins isn't an idiot. I trust him.

Most people are expecting us to lose anyway, so whatever side Robins fielded today would have been criticised I'm sure.

I'm looking forward to the game and hopefully we can have a counter to Luton's physicality
they aren’t the crazy gang - they actually have a lot of pace and create chances. The problem clearly is if they score early

Beginner’s guide to match threads

Robins keeps the same team = Robins is clueless, we have been terrible and need changes

Robins changes the team = Robins is clueless, he doesn’t know his best XI

Robins sticks to the same formation & tactics = Robins is too stubborn, why does he refuse to change things when it’s not working

Robins changes the formation & tactics = Robins is clueless, why does he keep changing things

Defensively I completely understand dropping Dasilva for this game as Luton would simply put a big guy on him and play long to him trying to exploit his lack of height. Hopefully MR's instinct on this proves correct as this wouldn't be the first time for his team selection to get slaughtered on the matchday thread before the game, but he be proven right come the end of the day.

CWR think it will be Kitching LWB. Now that would be a fucking sight.
At a recent forum Bobby Thomas said Kitch played left side much further forward at Barnsley albeit was the left of a 3 not a wingback and had to adjust to playing deeper in our 3cb option. His passing range is ok too, it's defensively he concerns me so might not be a bad thing.

Robins starts 4 centre backs at home = what the fuck is he doing

Yeah, I know, but we have had many an occasion where we have been bullied out of games in the past.

They are a physical side. We have to be able to counter that.

If they score early, then yes, you're right.

Let's see how is pans out

With that team selection if Mark Robins pulls it off he will be called a genius. 😲

Whilst Luton played well on Tuesday they haven't been great the other times I have seen them. We have a decent chance

Bassette needs a run in the side to give him a chance to be fair but then you could say that about most of them with all this chop and changing!

In the past, when we've had bizarre line-ups and have slagged it off before the game, we've usually won or drawn. Wouldn't be surprised if we win this comfortably after the reaction on here*

*I would, in fact, be very surprised

Sakamoto fits nowhere in this selection if it’s a wing back shape.
Been thinking of posting for a while that he has the potential to be play AM. Two footed, intelligent, can beat a man and can definitely spot and execute a pass. Very interesting to see if it works if that's the plan today.

This is either a brilliantly thought out tactical masterplan, or it's the last desperate throw of the dice from a manager who knows his time is up.

I guess we'll know by 2-30.
