Agreed we totally outplayed them but our terrible defence is going to keep many sides in games they have no right to be in.
Indeed. We need to sort it out as we're making our own lives very hard.

We played well first half that’s all
We played well between the boxes, not in them. I am going to apologise for calling you a bellend though, just this super fan 'I'm happier than you are because I kept the faith' bollocks that's flying around on here is a bit nauseating.
That's the first time I've seen shoots of improvement all season really. Let's hope it's something to build on rather than a one off.

So you now understand 352 can work and doesn't just stop working at championship level?
It didn’t suit our players last season. I’m still unconvinced it really works for our squad this season with Rudoni, Saka and EMC especially.

Our defence still looks fragile too. Not going to get into an argument though, no denying we deserved it today.

I must be getting old and miserable, agreeing with you G 🤣

We concede really stupid goals. Teams don’t score 3 or 4 every week.

I’m a big fan of wright who is by far our best player. Some so called experts on here didn’t even want him to play.

After that it makes me think some of the players needed a few home truths stuffed down their throats as after the last few games. much better, a few howlers but much better.

It certainly didn’t suit Kitching and Sakamoto was hopeless in the 10 role

Despite the bad results and poor performances over the past few weeks, I've always felt that we've the basis of being a good team, but the players were still finding their feet and lacking confidence. Same with Torp, he will be a very good player indeed, but it's hard to settle into a new country and a team that's not been playing well. I think his time has arrived.
After that performance today (admittedly only against a poor Luton team), I think the confidence will be boosted and we have a bright future.

No argument on that. Squad built for 433. Just defending the tactic as a whole that's all. No argument needed tho agreed

Lifts the pressure off a bit for manager and players. Hope we will play a little more freely over the next few weeks. Nothing to lose as expectation will be pretty low

I wouldn’t say Luton were particularly poor

hopefully this will be the kick up the arse the players need to see what happens when they play like they are capable of, and for each other as a team

yes we won, but the performance this time was the biggest plus for me

It's not that though is it. I'm absolutely delighted, but let's not pretend this is only 3 wins out of 12 this season.

The Oxford win was a similar last minute winner too.

He’s trolling from his bedroom for a few likes

Rudoni tried his best there but he’s very one footed and kept wanting to cut inside rather than hold position out wide. Also considering how many defensive players are on the field, we still give away such poor goals.

Surely one advantage of 532 is to be more solid? Anyway. If Dasilva is unfit I don’t see how we can keep playing it.

Big difference with that one was for me the mentality, went 2-0 down and came back with three good goals instead of us getting a lucky pass.

They need confidence, now we need consistency but huge three points to get us going.
