Rudoni tried his best there but he’s very one footed and kept wanting to cut inside rather than hold position out wide. Also considering how many defensive players are on the field, we still give away such poor goals.

Surely one advantage of 532 is to be more solid? Anyway. If Dasilva is unfit I don’t see how we can keep playing it.

Strangely I thought Rudoni looked pretty effective there

I thought that was the plan to tuck in as Binks was driving on the outside? which allowed Jack to have a overlap and under lap option?

We played well between the boxes, not in them. I am going to apologise for calling you a bellend though, just this super fan 'I'm happier than you are because I kept the faith' bollocks that's flying around on here is a bit nauseating.
That's the first time I've seen shoots of improvement all season really. Let's hope it's something to build on rather than a one off.
I'm not sure its to do with keeping the faith, I had very little belief at half time we would win but just called the first half as I seen it. First half we didn't deserve to be 2-0 down.

I don't think anyone is really getting it. We played fairly well first half between the boxes, but we made 2 poor mistakes and these aren't accidents, they are hallmarks of our season so far and not bad luck, just bad play. They need to be cut out.

In all our wins this season, we’ve scored 3 times. 2 of those by the odd goal. While that is great, I want us to start winning games scoring just once. That would mean our defence has improved.

We should have scored at least two before the penalty anyway, and should have even scored a couple at 3-2. The finishing and decision making needs to massively improve at the front, likewise the basics have to be done at the back.

Maybe other than the game we beat them 3-0 at their place 🤔 but even then we probably weren't the best team almost all game .

Fans have to be massively encouraged by what they saw today
We need to follow that performance up now and start putting a run together

Are you not allowed to win in the last minute?

Yes, but the Oxford result papered over the cracks until the Blackburn game.

Today is a great result, I'm genuinely delighted as I've got a Luton "supporting" mate. However, we need to start stringing results together, not win every 4+ league games.

That will come, enjoy the win and wait till next match before worrying about consistency.
