The Oxford game was hardly papering over cracks, we had battered them for the second half like today

Yes, we battered Oxford at home. How many league games after that one was the next league win?

We thoroughly deserved the win today Was it ever in doubt? Yes , without question at half time I just thought our defence could cave in and let in another 2 or 3 but to our credit we went for it second half and totally dominated them . We really needed this. Hopefully a little run now to move us away from the relegation zone. I'm not getting carried away just yet.

Didn't work though did it ? Only worked when Kitching & Saka were replaced by Rudoni & Torp. Rudoni at LWB was the inspired substitution

Yeah made by Mark Robins, some people just love to moan. 🙈

We played well between the boxes, not in them. I am going to apologise for calling you a bellend though, just this super fan 'I'm happier than you are because I kept the faith' bollocks that's flying around on here is a bit nauseating.
That's the first time I've seen shoots of improvement all season really. Let's hope it's something to build on rather than a one off.
No need to apologise at all!!!!!!!
Agreed

i was certain we'd win at half time. especially when i saw the highlights, we were all over them.
just annoyed that i didn't stuck a a few quid on it. would have got decent odds being 2-0 down.

That was a full 90 minute performance today, like we were used to previously. Unlucky to be down at ht, but no lack of fight and guts, and could have been 2 up before the obligatory Madley penalty against us!! That bloke always has to be centre of attention.
Luton should have been down to 9, how Morris gets away with all his shit amazes me and refs allow it, but they all dropped like stones in tackles or challenges, so glad they fucked off home with nothing.
Great performance but come on it was a stonewall penalty.

Been ill most of the day, and barely able to piss straight (let alone anything else), but what a turnaround after the subs came on. 👏

Now excuse me while I get lightheaded and drop my phone.

Get in you lovely Sky Blue bastards; Rudoni wide and Torp-edo behind the attackers (as I proposed yesterday! 🤣) brilliant comeback, and this should boost their confidence no end.

PUSB. And piss off Luton, you hat-wearing shit muffins.

Finally a great and worthy comment to suit all topics of agreement and nonsense. And never apologise for a bell end comment. We all have bell end moments! 😜

The most annoying thing was that it was such a stupid penalty to give away.

He needs to learn when and when not to challenge
Saka is a good little player but all too often the oppositions bully boys target him and he’s left on the floor. I’ve noticed as well that when he loses the ball his tenacious nature leads him to commit a lot of fouls trying to win it back.

Went to the game with much less enthusiasm than usual given recent performances, but…

Thought we started really well, with Simms and Wright looking very good.
We could have been 2 up before the penalty and seemed to be well in control before their second. Couldn’t really believe we were 2 down at half time.

Great comeback in the second half and great that there was no (noticeable) negativity from the crowd.

We so deserved the win and hopefully it’ll give us a real confidence boost.

As someone who had given up on Robins after Tuesday night, I’ve got to give credit where it’s due today. That the best performance of the season, we battered them from the first to the final whistle. Simms MOTM, best performance in a long time and fully deserved his goal. We have got to carry this into next week, 7 points before the next international break and we will have the momentum heading into the Christmas madness.
