Was he, he's out on the wing, DaSaliva didnt go in with studs or commit dangerous play, there's an argument to be had that the Luton player clipped Dasilva

On my first viewing I believed that their player initiated the contact and then in the second phase tripped themselves up to go down.

Nothing I've seen since tells me that isn't the case, JDS doesn't break his stride to make a movement towards the player or to foul him.

Ultimately the rule book states though it is a foul and it's the correct decision to send JDS off.

The manager even stated the rules are its a red card so no complaints .

Do you want me to say I'm wrong when its a red card ?
It’s like they said on Ref’s Watch earlier it’s not malicious or intentional even it’s a coming together which JDS is at fault for and what earns him a red.

So its not a foul then even though he touched him?

Given that it's, you know, a contact sport, no. Bloke kicked Dasilva and fell over. Not a foul. He didn't make a challenge. He didn't obstruct him. He's allowed to exist and run towards his own goal. I don't want to watch a sport where that's a foul every time. Total bullsh*t.

Ok there are clearly some that think it wasn't a foul or a red card and I doubt arguing with me will change that .

Forget what the games laws say , let's just drop it 😂

I'm just going with the facts, all gone now. There is minimal contact. Luton player clips his own heels. Definitely a yellow..Kitching it level..there players red, not a straight red, but 2 yellows, so a sending off. The Luton lad , who kicks out, is a straight red.

Having looked at the replay a few times, there is the slightest of contacts, and he is clearly the last man.

I have also looked at Bundu committing not one but two red card offences in the same incident and at the Luton player who tried to kick Eccles, both right in front of the officials and both not punished.

Fair should be fair and that should be 3 red cards, not one.

Difficult to be extremely confident given our keeper situation and we are still completely in the dark on other players who may or may not be fit, but I do think we win this. Not that nervous... yet.

Not convinced the laws as they're written say that Dasilva fouled him. Happy to be proven wrong if anyone cba to dig the law out and post it.

Playing devil's advocate, there's plenty of laws that get ignored every single game. Time keeper has the ball. Going off for treatment etc etc.

If the law says that's a foul, no room for interpretation, then it's a red card as he's through. Just not convinced it's a foul. Joke if the laws say it is.

Who knows more about the rules of the game? You or Frank Lampard?
