Not feeling confident as I think we will have a thread bare defence or players carrying injuries. Hopefully the crowd will make a difference. Been a while (Sunderland) since we have seen a decent performance from a forward. Need to see more.

I can’t see Blackburn or milwall winning so a points enough, wer‘e a different team at home, injuries or not, we’ll get what we need 😉

I'm totally relaxed with this game. Playing the high line works well against sides like Middlesbrough as long as they don't change their formation. But it's a must win for them just to have a chance of getting into the playoffs.

We're at home. We have won every league game at home since the end of last year other than those against the runaway sides Leeds and Burnley. Against Burnley we came close to being the only side to score twice against them in a league game this season.

Hopefully an early goal and party atmosphere throughout the game. Coast to the win. Bristol City fail to beat Preston who are playing for their Championship survival. Carry on with the draw win run of results against Sunderland. Hamer to pick up yet another muscle injury if Sheffield United also get through to the final.

Can’t say I’m actually looking forward to it that much. Never pretended I like crappy 12.30 kick offs, too many players in our team capable of making a complete fuck up and a stubborn manager who I fear is going to play calamity Collins again.
I’d like to think our strikers can hit some form….finally.

Bidwell marking Whittaker is going to cause us problems needs doubling up on.I would play Asante ahead of Simms(shit) as he is better at the press and also any chance we can have grimes higher up the pitch look at what he done against West Brom.

You want to double up on a player that's scored 3 league goals all season and hasn't scored in 15 appearances for Middlesbrough?

Our previous couple of big, high pressured home games against the better teams (WBA, Sunderland) we’ve turned up and stepped it up a level. You have to hope we do the same again.

Big games also need big players to show up. Wright has got his standard couple of anonymous/low key games out the way, so is due a big performance.
Sheaf needs to step up after a bit of a non starter season for him.
Simms either needs to admit he’s too injured to put in a performance or find a better way to cope with the injury.
Grimes needs to dominant the middle.
Rudoni needs to show why he’s our most creative outlet.

Big game stakes, big game atmosphere - I am confident (ish) we’ll get the job done.

Just think his pace will cause us problems and we never close any one down we just allow players to come on and Bidwell is one of the worst for this.

I feel exactly the same. Our recent form has really fucked me off. One bit of hope is both Leeds and Southampton stuttered into the play off final last year.

I think they need to win more than us so hopefully it means they leave massive spaces at the back.

The issue is, who is going to make the most of that and do a goal?

We have no other option than Simms up front, I just wish Lampard would get him in a room and call him a c**t, tell him the boro defender is going to knock him out, tell him the other defender is trying to follow his missus on insta and just get him to be aggressive and direct.
