We’re not good at keeping the ball or winning it back. To top it off, another soft goal conceded.

Thomas and Kitching have kept 2 clean sheets so far, they should be starting in my view.

I appreciate it’s not simple, but I don’t understand how we’ve not signed a CM or 2 this summer. Robins moaned about depth and quality, we let Kelly go and somehow not signed anyone.

Our success is dependent on Sheaf being 100% and that’s not good enough from Robins.

He’s an absolute fucking fanny

He really is. He’s played well for about 30 minutes against Oxford and that’s it

Its pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. We've got no answers, we're predictable. We're slow. We look lightweight, we keep giving the ball away.

And once again, we've lost a game not because they've scored a goal of any real quality, but by it being a typical Coventry City goal to concede.

What is our main plan? What is our plan for when that doesn't work? Who do we have to come on and look to change things up, get us doing something different? On that basis, no-one. We barely laid a glove on them once we went a goal down. Certainly not in any way that would have had them worried.

Well, what can you say. We were in the game for quite long periods, but the goal definitely knocked the stuffing out of us.

Norwich were very, very organised and physical and retained the ball much better than us and knew how to kill off the game.

Add to that, sub-par performances from Rudoni and Bidwell and Simms and Saka, made life even more difficult for us.

Thought MVE was very good and so too Eccles and Bassette looked bright when he came on too, but we were pretty much chasing shadows in the end.

It was pretty dire to watch, but you have to admit, Norwich looked a very decent side indeed. Keep playing like that and they will be right up there.

We have problems we need to iron out

So Doug and MR are you happy with the below par performances, the new coaching structure, 4 points from 4 games (which is relegation form), the lack of reinforcements in midfield/defence etc etc.?

Wow

That wasn’t a good look for the players, manager or the coaching staff. We’re used to the odd bad performance but rarely a gutless one.

And outside of Bassette, that was gutless

The players we have brought in are going to have to start living up to their billing quickly. It's the sort of game Palmer may have changed but that option is gone. Rudoni hasn't created anywhere near enough for me and is going to have to work on his engine. Torp mediocre. Mason Clarke has a step over but hasn't shown much else. Worst thing is we look like we did at the start of last season which is lost and confused. Bidwell had an awful game for him but the rest of the defence seemed decent and I thought Eccles did really well especially defensively . We need Simms and Wright back in to their groove. Norwich were alright but open for us to take advantage and we couldn't.

There will be 6 better teams than us. 24/25 is a write off for me.
From what I've seen so far, we aren't close to being a top half team.

Three abysmal performances with a lucky point and a win against last year's League 1 play off winners. Amazing.

Another season, another slow start. Only another 6 games until Robins realises that his system isn't working. We are to easy to play against. Turn up and play a high press against us.
Lightweight and looks like everyone has stick to the system. We have pace and don't want to use it.

Apart from Oxford, that is completely consistent with what has gone before. The midfield strategy on and off the pitch has been a horrible and costly error.

Just so ultra passive. No aggression or drive in the majority of the team. Like they expected the game to just happen without imposing themselves.

Absolute waste of a summer not strengthening that midfield.

Lads I know you'll all say "we should have signed a midfielder" but it's irrelevant when the team don't look like they've got any game plan, don't look like they've met before. Have no real relationships in the team.

Bidwell started the season really poorly and yet was brought back in and caught square and ball watching. That's on Robins isn't it?

Bassette let’s be honest looked very raw and contributed very little

No creativity in that squad.

Why don't we press further up the pitch until being behind?! At times there were 3 or 4 players knocking the ball around Simms/Bassette in triangles/ squares. This happens every game. Our tactics are not working. For all the talk of our strength in attack/weakness in midfield, our starting front 3 were not good enough. No intensity or fire. At least we see that from Bassette, BTA and EMC.

Anyone still going to come on here and defend that midfield? Embarrassing
Excellent for 40 mins especially torps passing
Rudoni had a really good game
Crying out for a change
Thought binks had an excellent game too
Should be drawing that game 0-0
Gonna struggle without working out a way of getting forward quicker and with more players
Annoying from the ref with saka injury

Bottom line we have become a fan base that we used to hate. Whiny booing expect to win every game
