By far our best defenders. I don't know if he's just trying to get an understanding with Lati and Binks or punishing Thomas and Kitching for the end of last season but whatever it is he needs to stop and put the best pairing we have back in.
Robins makes sure Latibeaudiere plays one way or the other and it's been obvious for some time .

But it's clear we need to play the 2 young Barnsley lads who both like to move the ball forward , both have leadership qualities and will help us with set pieces too .

I like binks but he's not a leader

Still don't see what's wrong with having a "lump" at centre-half. Someone to offer a proper presence in both boxes. Not like our current options are ball players - either it goes sideways or back to the keeper.

Thomas had a bad start. Binks has been decent.

I would play them though. Thomas is our best defender, and Kitching is good at passing through the lines, which we don't have at all at the moment. Puts us on the front foot.

We lost but we had zero issues defensively today. Bidwell lacked composure in the attacking half but we were rarely troubled at the back.

Norwich didn’t have to get out of second gear throughout the game. Gave them too much space in the middle of the pitch and rarely closed them down. Both Simms and later Bassette made decent runs but we didn’t try and find them quick enough. Considering we were 1 down for most the second half we lacked urgency and ideas and didn’t look like scoring.

How anyone. Anyone at all can see that today and not think questions need to be asked are fucking mental

Midfield mon existent, shape a fucking mess and the inability to swap formation when 1 down at home with a plethora of attacking options is infuriating

Robins and his 17 fucking coaches, who BTW, have brought fuck and all to the table so far, need to find a way to play without Sheaf because if he is our for a while we are FUCKED

I'm wondering if this is case of too many coaches?

Do they each have their own opinion on the best way forward? What each player should and shouldn't be doing? What the game plan is? I wonder if the players are confused with all the potential and conflicting instructions they're potentially being given from the Coach Army because they looked confused after the goal. No plan, no momentum, nothing.

Better teams then Norwich will rip us to pieces and won't have to get out of 2nd gear to do it. God help when Spurs come to town.

Robins saying at least we kept the scoreline close vs Norwich at 1-0 instead of being smashed 3-0 like previous seasons. I am not happy for moral victories. A loss is a loss and this Norwich team is nowhere near as good as those we faced in previous seasons. They are definitely beatable.

Seriously there a team which haven’t won till today what is he on about. The aim which he accepted was promotion via play offs. Not a relegation team, “woohoo we only conceded one”. Piss off thats shite

We drew to them at home last season

That's a very worrying mentality he's showing

Not robins fault this. Formation and tactics were fine it was the players who let us down

3 of the back 4 do and BTA needs to come in for Simms for a bit too really. The fact it hasn't happened yet is baffling, if it doesn't happen in the next game he's truly lost the plot.

Whats BTA done to warrant a start?

The draw was due to an own goal but at least there was more fight in that team. This team is so soft and clueless about what to do and shows no aggression and sleepwalks until they are a goal down and then tries to make amends.

Disagree, when it wasn't working there was no changes or tactically any thought to how to approach it. Also players look like they don’t give a shit. Who’s job is it to get the troops going?

Sheaf not out for long and back in training next week
Great he’ll play 20 mins next game and then be out on his ass for the next 5 games. Very injury prone I’m afraid.

There's more coaches in the squad than midfield players - it's ridiculous to see

I'm sorry to say, but if they get booed, they deserve it. The lads need to also lift the crowd with their play which has been awful for several games now.

I disagree.

It was most definitely a poor performance but we need to lift the team not get on their backs. That will just make their heads drop and won’t help to improve the performance level.

Sounds exactly like last year. People slamming the money spent and the recruitment team. Haji and Simms getting slated and then went on the score 40 goals.

Today was poor. It was similar to 12 months ago. Disjointed. Lots of players looking a little lost. Worryingly, a slight lack of confidence Infront of 26,000 home fans.

It will get better. Lots of new faces, plenty out the door and multiple new coaches. They need some time to get to grips.

Behind anything, our most gifted and important player hasn't played yet. Put him in the side today and we are far more likely to pick up a point or 3.
