We are massively missing quality in midfield and a leader in defence.
MR has gambled tonight that Lati (not a CB) and Banks (didn't play much last year) would be enough. Thomas and Kitching and we don't concede these goals imo.

He's a CB by trade.
People can't say he isn't just because he plays other positions too. Whether he is a good enough CB is another debate however.

We are attacking in numbers, which is great to watch but makes us vulnerable to quick counter-attacks.

Lati, Torp, Saka & Simms changed at some point for Thomas, Allen, EMC & BTA
Binks played plenty last year. The fact is that we have kept only ONE clean sheet when he starts!! But he is immune from criticism because he can play one or two pretty passes.
We have completely spaffed a load of money on him when we could have got a player who can actually defend!
Must be Thomas and Kitching going forward!

You have to laugh , Torp gets done twice for the build up to the goal and then plays the bloke onside for the goal, you know your shit out of luck

this place makes me chuckle….to a man we’ve played very well tonight, and looked dangerous every time we’ve gone forwards, controlled the game and not really put a foot wrong, but two unfortunate goals and suddenly there’s a meltdown
