Crying out for a Joe Worrall type of signing at RCBLats is a liability, almost gave away a penalty on Tuesday over nothing. Thomas was awful v Stoke but I'd stick with him. We still need an experienced pro at RCB to marshall the defence.
Eccles and Wright is an obvious choice to bring in tonight. Looking forward to seeing how EMC performs of the bench. Excited to potentially see a front 3 of EMC, BTA and Tavares coming on late in the game and running at a tired defence.
Just need a couple of things to click and speed up play and I think we'll win. Going for 3-0. Simms, Rudoni and Kitching
I keep having flashbacks to the goals he gave away against Wolves and Man U, schoolboy errorshes a good CB. People are blinded by how he played at RB and CM last season
Coventry had a home attendance of about 5000 a season earlier , I'm not sure it's at all relevant to a team on the up like yourselves .. We also took about 400 to scunthorpe 1 night about 8 years agoHi there folks. Oxford fan here.
Our toughest test tomorrow and certainly memories of how you utterly dismantled us last season, and you compounding a very bad run that we were already on. You looked excellent that day and showed us the standard to aspire to. Needless to say we are all very surprised 8 months later to be playing you in the same league. But after 25 years absence, plunging down to the conference, we are pretty happy just to be back and making up the numbers. You are clearly favourites tomorrow and many of you have perhaps rightly predicted a home victory.
There’s a little bit of harshness on this forum though about our away support for tomorrow. The permanent non student population of Oxford is 120,000. By contrast Coventry-Bedworth is three times that at 450,000. The average home support that you get is about three times more than us.
Our home support is 9000 so to bring nearly 1600 (20% of our home support) to you isn’t terrible on a Friday night sky tv game. it would be the equivalent of you taking about 5,000 to an away game.
A little additional context …in September 2018 you came to our place for a sky game and brought 774 fans (3% of current home support).
Saying that though
Whoever made a Twitter page for it is a complete bell end
Da Silva was brilliant against Man U and not bad at Bristol...so if you're as good as your last game and all that.Calls for Latibeaudiere and Da Silva to play frighten me. Based on last season neither of them should be starting if we want to be a top team. Not sure what people are seeing that I haven't to be honest.

No I think earlsdon has reasonable concerns about both players .. I mean adam barton played well for us once or twiceIf you watch the game from Tuesday night both Da Silva were two of our better players on the night and deserve to start based on that alone.
Can’t keep harking back to last season as and when it’s suitable for your argument.
If he's starting at CB I don't think it's a bad thing. Most the poor performances he's had have been at RB.Is Lati actually starting? That’s a disaster waiting to happen.

So what we are saying is that we've got to the point where our 6 million pound CB pairing have both been taken out the team .
Top recruitment guys if we can spend 8 or so mill on centre halves and Latibeaudiere is the starter
I'm not the biggest Dasilva fan but he's here and I think he'd be fine in a game like this tbh. Lati doesn't convince me at all but it is Oxford at home so you'd hope we'd be OK.Calls for Latibeaudiere and Da Silva to play frighten me. Correct. They are the 2 that suffered most from the formation change.Lati and JDS are in the same boat for me. They were recruited with a back 5 in mind. Outside that system I just don’t think they fit in apart from as back up and in the case of JDS, as an impact sub.
I struggle to see Lati anywhere. He’s fairly good as a CB in a back 3 but I’m not at all convinced by him at CB in a back 4. The last decent CB I can remember for us who was a similar height to Lati was Peter Atherton. He was considerably more aggressive and physically imposing.
But, we do need to be able to rotate Thomas out of the spotlight for his own sake sometimes, hence additional RCB needed.
Sorry, but the Leys is more upmarket than Coventry. Terraced 3 bed houses start at over £300k in Blackbird Leys. Having driven thru the Foleshill Road area, Coventry also has it crappy areas.Blackbird Leys in Oxford is worse than anywhere in Cov.

Yeah and it was Thomas he subbed for MVE as well when normally it would of been Lati that got replaced.Bidwell was shit last week and Dasilva was good against Bristol City.
I don’t expect Robins to drop Bidwell already and he doesn’t deserve to be, but if he has another game or two like that then yeah he’ll be out the team.
I think MR was pretty disgusted with Thomas’ passing in both games, there was one on Tuesday night where Thomas gave it away and Robins turned round in disgust and threw his arms up.
Lati did well at CB at the start of last season. He’s definitely not a RB but a solid option at CB.
To be fair the Foleshill Road goes through loads of different areas, some nicer than others.Sorry, but the Leys is more upmarket than Coventry. Terraced 3 bed houses start at over £300k in Blackbird Leys. Having driven thru the Foleshill Road area, Coventry also has it crappy areas.
Not expecting to get anything tonight, a point would be excellent, but we should do better than the drubbing you gave us last year in the cup.
Must have missed those nicer areas on my way up the Foleshill Road.To be fair the Foleshill Road goes through loads of different areas, some nicer than others.
Not sure house prices are the way to judge it. There are terrible areas in London where an equivalent house would set you back more than £300k, doesn't make them nicer. The point is that it's a city and therefore also has it's share of bad areas.Sorry, but the Leys is more upmarket than Coventry. Terraced 3 bed houses start at over £300k in Blackbird Leys. Surprised it's so low - there are no more than about 1,000 tickets in our areas available currently. Reckon 29k even with Oxford's pathetic showing.Club expecting 27,000
You are normally a lot more rational than this, Thomas played the most games out of anybody last season. He's started the season a bit out of sorts so it might help him to be taken out of the firing line. It's not a big issue. So what we are saying is that we've got to the point where our 6 million pound CB pairing have both been taken out the team .

Can I just shock you; I like Latibeaudiere.
They are the streets off them, don't judge an area by what the main throughfare looks like.Must have missed those nicer areas on my way up the Foleshill Road.
I love when they’re already rattled before the game imagine what they’ll be like after getting smashed (again) by a much bigger club, they may have a better Uni but we’ve got a Cathedral to spair!
But we don't though do we
