I'm not a fan of blaming referees for stupid decisions by players but that lad has been a walking red card all half. If he'd booked one of his silly challenges earlier then it would likely have calmed him down.
Could have been a bad injury

Job done. Would have loved to see wn Eccles hattrick. Dull second half, but who cares. We did what we needed to do and responded. Yes, Plymouth were absolutely shocking, but the game still needs winning.

Yes Plymouth were fucking dog shit, but it was great not seeing our left flank getting torn apart every couple of minutes, and Dovin looked comfortable even though he only had 1 effort to save.

I want Eccles to get a hat trick so bad. Ref blows when we have a corner though. The c**t

😂 so did Eccles last five minutes he did nothing but try and get into a scoring position.

I like a lot of what I see since Lampard took over and I think a few individuals look improved already but the single biggest one has to be EMC. It really is some change, suddenly looks worth the money and is frankly undroppable.
Rudoni as well

Good stuff from Sheaf, Saka, EMC and Eccles today. First three looking like getting back to their potential.
