We've just played two of the best teams in the league. There's a bit of an urge to rip things up because we lost them, but let's not forget the run we went on and what was working for us. Losing the Burnley and Sheffield United shouldn't mean we go back to the drawing board.

Wilson for Collins, which I think is essential. You can't play trial with a keeper who is clearly going through a crisis, and made such an error at the weekend. There's too much at stake with 6 games left.

I would make very few changes for Wednesday other than this, and see if we can get going again.

Remember that in our run of 3 defeats out of four, we also lost to bottom (ish) if the table Derby.

The away games that are coming up are as tough as anything we could face will all teams fighting to stay up, and in particular, a Luton side who are now finding form with players that played in the premier league last season suddenly stepping up.

This is the "easiest" of our final six.

Need a win.

I think Derby was an anomaly to be honest. We then went and smashed Sunderland. Sheffield United were just better than us, and Burnley psyched us out.

Agree that we really need to win this one. I also think we need more from the attackers. The defence and goalkeeper will get the focus, but we haven't been good enough going forwards in the last two games either.

I'm not sure what changing things up will achieve at this point, but if we don't get back to winning ways it might be worth a discussion then. I don't feel it is off the back of the last two games alone given the quality of the opposition, but I might change my mind after Wednesday!

Technically it's not must win but we are getting to the stage where it is very very important to win.

Sounds like the club is still confident and let's hope we get a W on the board again

I don’t like this comfort vibe I’m getting off people about having to play Boro and Baggies. They’re as good as us.
Obviously, you know that I take a fair bit of interest in WBA!
They have a thrashing in them waiting to happen. Hope it is not us!!
Don't concede many and are dynamic going forwards.
Johnson and, Fellows down our left in particular could cause us a whole heap of problems!
For obvious reasons, the game in least looking forward to!!

Kept thinking this last night. Luckily for our attack, that mess at the back took the attention away from how little we offered.

I know we’re not mathematically out, but if we lose this I think the season’s over. That’s kind of how I feel.

I know they’re family and all, but is there not a little part of you wanting to windmill them all?

Derby loss was in the middle of their win run though. Nothing to be ashamed of imo

Never thought I would be advocating this, but I think we need to be starting with Ellis and Haji, they are our best forwards. EMC and Da Silva dally around on the wing playing little one twos but normally by the time they get the ball into the box Haji has 3 defenders on him. We need to double up on the threat!

we have to stop playing wright up front. great player, one of our best if not the best, but not a target man.
he's better with the ball at his feet running at players, and you only get that space out on the wing.
emc has been off the game recently, so loses his place imo.

simms isn't exactly match fit, surviving on a few mins recently, but it is what it is. and there is only one solution to that.

EMC has been poor the last 2 games. Think Wright out left with Simms in the middle needs to be employed these last 6 games. Their partnership was great last season. Allen was ineffective the last couple of games and not sure if Torp or Sheaf might be worth starting.

A slight change for me , as EMC hasn’t been with it , in the last 2 games , so I would put Hadji on the left, with Simms playing the centre forward role & saka on the right .
Torp , a bit of an enigma & yesterday couldn’t get going , but we have good options in midfield, but I would like to see Paterson in there , as he is a goal scorer .
Unfortunately, Bidwell won’t be able to contain Murphy , so DaSilva has to play .
They will stick with Collins , as he is back in the shop window & interest could be nil , if we pull him now ?

Collins is picked over Wilson because he suits the high line. If we played Wilson we’d need to change the entire teams tactics.

He swept up great for their 2nd gift.

The last two games EMC, Sakamoto and Torp have offered very little.

I think there will be changes but Collins will start in goal.

Maybe it is a good idea to start Haji on the left and Ellis down the middle.

I think Torp needs a start too.

Grimes was a little lacklustre yesterday but still should start.

Will Lampard be in the stands for this game and/or the next?
