Pompey have sold over 2300 tickets. Should be 27k plus again.

They always travel well these days. Wouldn't be surprised if they sell near 3000.

Our sales are down on previous games.

We win this one comfortably. Pompey are bottom half with nothing to play for; could play my nan in goal and we'd still win.

Should be a case of running up the goal difference 3 or 4 as there struggling in the CB region at the minute which suits our crossing game.

I'd bring Sheaf in for Allen as the only change.
Is your Nan busy tomorrow?

Yet @Earlsdon_Skyblue1 wants to not change and stick with our regularly used 3 of Grimes, Rudoni and Torp. Bizarre hey.

The three of them along with Eccles and Allen regularly made a significant contribution during our brilliant run. The combination deviated at times due to injuries. As Eccles is currently injured, other than Allen, you would look to play them all together as they are our three best midfielders.

It is quite straightforward.

That specific combination has never been used. You cannot call people out for being ‘too eager to change’ and then ask for a brand new midfield three combination. It’s quite straightforward but you probably hadn’t noticed they’d never played as a 3 before as you don’t attend any games.

Against a weaker team it might work. Tomorrow night might be a time for it. Against anyone decent particularly away from home they’d be overran easily.

IDK Haji is proven there, still scoring in the other spot though, questions?
Personally I don't think Sheaf will get a look in for the rest of the season but who knows?

It has been used, and those three players have been playing predominantly full-time other than injuries during that spell - so your point has already been proved false. Basically all this is some shit trolling because deep down you know Grimes, Rudoni, Torp are our best midfield players, and your advocation for a flailing Sheaf is not sticking.

I am back in the UK and will be at the game tomorrow. I will also be going to Plymouth - which I think by your own measurements makes me a better supporter than you, as not only have I travelled further, but you can't be bothered to go to that one.

They played once in a 4 not in a 3. They have never played together in a 3 which you are suggesting. It’s very straightforward. I would be happy to see them play in a three together tomorrow for the first time. Glad you agree that we should make changes.

I am going to Plymouth of course. See you there fat lad.

The opposition is injury-riddled, notoriously bad away from home, the referee is Gavin Ward and it's going to be a lovely spring Wednesday evening...what could possibly go wrong?

He's one of the best central midfielders in the league, it really isn't that baffling
Last season yes, this season he has been terrible ( okay has he been fully fit? But he has been terrible is the reality).

Nothing to play for? They could still easily be relegated!

Lampard said more than he once he'd like Grimes working higher up the pitch. Sheaf tends to sit more than him, and we've been broken on too easily too often. I want to see what Sheaf sitting deep and Grimes plus another higher up looks like. Think tmrw night is a less risky game to trial it.
Grimes is far more composed on the ball IMO. Sheaf will at some point play us into trouble with a misplaced pass so deeper he plays more likely it will leave the defence exposed.

After his recent performances I'd be lea

Torp has been terrible in his last two appearances, who cares about how Sheaf played earlier this season (he wasn't even that bad just been scapegoated)
