The usual voices on here losing their tiny minds when we have a bad game. Do they ever learn? Same reactive bullshit. We have been on a great run for months one loss doesn't signal the end of the world.

We have had similarly shite results before and bounced back.

My mind boggles at how people still don't trust the manager or players
In fairness, no defending that performance. We may well bounce back but just think the squad is too depleted at the moment. Can see us dropping off a bit. They all look knackered. Genuinely a little fearful for what Monday could bring. Preston could have had 6 or 7 today if they wanted.

That is an opinion. He has played well in many games, but not tonight.
Whenever we play a team with attacking capability he struggles. He's fine against teams like Stoke, who are a bit powderpuff, but he's not a great defender.

Performance was what it was, we were poor and their 2nd and 3rd were mad moments.

But I’m disappointed in our fans tonight who got on the players backs at 1-0, and Robins who killed any hope of a comeback with the switch to a 5.

Quite. I was even positive after the Cardiff game when just about everybody else said we were rubbish, there are very few positives to that performance though.

Wonder if Preston are going to bookmark our season at both ends? The good run came after losing there and emphatically ends losing to them at home.

There is still a long way to go but it's very difficult to see how we can sustain a play off push with Sakamoto looking to be out for a long time. On the upside Torp played and Sheaf will be coming back.

Well well well.

This has been coming for a few weeks. It could easily have happened against Millwall and we were lucky against Stoke.

I questioned the Wilson choice and had reservations about the defence (wheres kitching?) but didn't imagine it would have been this level of dogshit.

Some of the shit choices almost feel like Robins is trying to make a point about lack of January signings.

We aren't out of it, but it does feel like this could be a turning point that sees the season fizzle out.

When Kitching and Bidwell came back in, with Collins, we suddenly significantly improved at the back.
Wilson, Jds and Thomas just throws it all up in the air. Panic and a bad mistake in all of them.
Strange from Robins.

Any news on Sakamoto's injury? Looked like holding his back, so hopefully just a precaution with the stretcher.

Why would a press take us by surprise? And Preston didn't have a bit of luck. We were shite from the off.,

I think their first goal he climbed all over Binks, could easily been a foul. Thomas cores in his own net. Yeah there was some luck about their goals but they deserved it, no doubt. It's like we were just not ready for the fast start from Preston and were caught cold.
But boy do we look hopeless in midfield without Sheaf. I think on reflection Robins picked the wrong side against a physical opponent. But that's just excuses for a wretched performance all round. Preston did not have to be particularly good.
Lets hope it's a kick up the backside at the right moment.

At what point did I defend the performance?!

My point is that it's the same wimps losing their minds when we have a poor game acting like the sky has fallen in. Yet we have competed in ever year since Robins took over from Slade. Just take a shite result on the chin and move on. It'll be fine

Well. That was disappointing performance. Preston deserved the win.
PNE assistant bringing loads of drinks onto the field of play--without any consequence it seems-- just about the funniest part of this farce.
As I mentioned earlier, I'll read the meltdown later. I have a dinner engagement.

Anyone with high blood pressures I hope give yourself the night off from posting or reading this thread, for your own health.
