can’t believe people care and are still discussing it to be honest, we won and that’s all that matters isn’t it??

and actually, if it was a foul then fair play Bobby and I’m all for a bit of the dark arts, people have complained for ages that we’re too soft and have no bite!
Yeah, it's not as if this is a football forum where people want to discuss moments in football that could be conducive to a good debate, welcoming partisan or objective driven opinions...

No, wait....

…lazy response that

but hey, talk about what you want to talk about, why we need pages of debate on a goal that was given in our favour however is beyond me

Only just got round to watching the highlights. What the fuck was their keeper appealing for on the goal? He two hand shoves Sakamoto in the back then falls over and claims a foul?

Sorry, next time I will write a 10,000 word dissertation on the merits of a user (or users) on a football forum discussing pertinent moments in a football game.

But hey, question it all you want, my guy, and have a splendid evening.

He did the same in the first half and got away with it (when we hit the post)

Did I see Eccles take a corner from the left?

Yes he did and as per usual he failed to beat the first man on the post.

You'd think by now he'd get the hang of it. Do they not practicing in training, by the looks of it, obviously not.

Cook falls over his own player Field who is the one goes down when Thomas jumps? Before that there is not a chance of a foul

Love it, proper goal celebration from Bobby Thomas. 💪

The same could be said about Torp who had a free kick on the right in the 1st half that didn't get past the 1st defender

Well yeah he did, but not as often as Eccles.

The defending team could make it a bit easier for themselves by leaving a couple on the 1/2 way line and 1 or 2 on the edge of the penalty atea

Oh yes I remember them days.

The days we didn't have iPads etc.

it’s more what you were saying rather than the number of words used to say it, but never mind

We didn’t have 7 or 8 of our starting 11. Are you therefore surprised that their squad depth was better than ours ?
TBH I was being a bit of a pedantic arsehole making a point about how what you had written could be misinterpreted. If you had been a bit more wordy by saying “played a weakened Ipswich team” it would have been 100% obvious what you meant, so this entire thread would have been significantly shorter and therefore less wordy 🤣
