Every player on the pitch has. Job when the oppo break. The entire point of three at the back is that your wingbacks can be caught forward and the wide CBs or DMs will cover.

Got to say Sunderland and Sheff Utd looked nothing special given their league position.

Still, when we keep conceding such poor goals we’re making it so much harder than it needs to be. All we know is slowly pass it wide to optimistically cross the ball in.

Hate to agree with Wilder but some of our performances under MR were so piss poor that it mind boggling. If we can find a way not to concede goals, I think the wins will follow. At least we’ve shown some resilience these last 2 games.

No. I think they’re endemic of the defending this season. I’ll have to watch them back but generally speaking wing backs are allowed to go forwards and when they do that’s not out of position no matter what a bunch of SBT posters who only understand 442 and keep calling him a left back say.

They’re all shit defensively. The goals we’ve given away this season have been comical. Why the left wing back gets the stick rather than the DMs that can’t screen or the CBs who can’t track runner I don’t know.
