Here's what I reckoned
1. Collins distribution is the best of the three keepers. Quicker than the other two
2. From a standing start, EMC is prepared to take the full back on. MVE, Tats and Da Silva don't mind going for the line if put through, but not from a standing start. EMC will, and he is such a big unit.
3. If the opposition push up and slow the game down, as Derby and Sheffield have done, Sheaf runs out of ideas. However Rudoni had one of his 'hot' days (you never know with him), so kept up momentum.
4. You can't concede 2 goals a game (with no injuries as an excuse) and expect to move up the table. It's asking too much of the attack. And hell's teeth we had a defensive set up with three at the back and still gave them 2 goals. What was Da Silva thinking of for their second?
5. I now have no idea what our best IX is! I want 3 at the back 2 wing backs 4 in midfield and 2 up front - oops that's 13 players. With Bidwell back I would be inclined to try 4-3-3 - EMC, Norman and Tats as the front three.
