If the players had stopped playing and I agree that at least some of them had, I don't really think there's any going back from that though is there?Nah that bollocks. If you’re looking to see if we’ve turned a corner you don’t look at the whole season.
I think from the looks of it the players had stopped playing so it’s all a bit moot anyway.

We always win at home to shit teams like Wednesday and Derby too. Both are sides we have an excellent record against, like Boro. I’ve seen a lot of “top 2!!!” But they’re just the same stripes red cunts we’ve been beating for years.
This is literally what I've been saying all along. I'd agree it's unprofessional and I'd agree it's a cruel end for Robins but once you reach that point it's game over. Thus I don't really understand the hysteria... but we move on, the sooner a new man is in and we start talking about football again the better. No probably not. All I can say is they’d better fucking get us promoted now.

How we played yesterday is pretty close to how we were playing under Robins. Think Robins would‘ve started BTA for Bassette yesterday, but other than that I think it’s similar. We were playing OKish under Robins, but with the same problems we had yesterday. They are good results. All I’m saying is up until a few weeks ago they are results we’d expect, if not a little disappointing. Both are sides we have an excellent record against, like Boro. I’ve seen a lot of “top 2!!!” But they’re just the same stripes red cunts we’ve been beating for years. And I do think under a proper manager we’d have won yesterday. I thought we handled the red terribly TBH.
What I’m seeing now is base performance we’ve had up until this season.
Our owner whether you like him or not was the only show in town, people weren't queueing up and if SISU had stayed around... well we had to sell a player to pay for a pitch so say no more.My personal hysteria is around the fact our owner is a moron and I really really hoped he wasn’t.
Just getting 2004 vibes from this whole thing. I don’t want to go back to 2004 (well, not in football).

The most ridiculous thing about this season is that we haven’t managed a single ‘routine’ win. The frustrating thing about Derby was that it was a perfect candidate for just that kind of win. Sheff Utd have been churning out those kind of unfussy 1-0/2-0 wins all season.

I think he's done a lot of good but seriously needs to take a step back after this appointment.
Why’s he a moron, he’s said himself he wants to bring in a director of football so he doesn’t have to make decisions on the playing side of things, won’t know if sacking robins was wrong or right but something had to change and judging by the last few games those players weren’t going to do it for robins, if your comparing him to you know who ( don’t want to remind myself of those dark days ) then your miles off, clubs in a far better place,My personal hysteria is around the fact our owner is a moron and I really really hoped he wasn’t.

They went down to 10 and put literally 9 men behind the ball. It's difficult to break down but we kept going and did it in the end.Im not sure we did TBH. We got carved open basically at the first two attempts, I think with 11 they’d have been happy to keep doing that. Once they went down to ten we had no idea what to do really.

Peaky Blinders wasn't set in Cov unfortunately so we didn't have some cringe American billionaire wanting to buy us off the back of it.Every owner is always the only game in town. “24 hours to save CCFC”

Robins beats a ten man team (even if the red was the last ten minutes): “Barely even a win, basically a gimme”
Carr fails to beat a ten man team: “Going against a ten man team is really tough, we broke them down in the end”
I don't think it was a good result tbh said the same yesterday but in fairness he's not a manager and I don't expect much else from him
Blackburn - we were much better and swept them aside. Boro - probably the closest thing to it as the 3 flattered us.Blackburn was pretty routine.
Was Boro? Despite been down to 10 they gave us the runaround for long spells until we got the 2nd.
No same. He’s stepped up and fair play to him, I still think half his job has been done by a few stopping sulking. But I’ve seen nothing that suggests he’s some great tactical mastermind. Which considering he was first team coach under Robins is hardly surprising.

I mean those close fought, unmemorable games where the important thing is to win. Promotion is built on winning those forgettable games. Last time we played Sheff Utd at home is a good example of one. Millwall and Plymouth from last season spring to mind too.
Not all fans are going to agree on a clubs owner .. for me he's already upset me enough to think he's a bellend .
For many he's the second coming of sheikh mansour.
That's life
fair enough, but he’s a million miles away from those who won’t be mentioned, he’s made a few mistakes, he’s admitted that, the only reason why some fans have turned on him is he’s sacked robins, what if he’s got it spot on, remains to be seen if he did the right thing ?
They were sat very deep, you will have to play football in front of them. There wasn't any space in behind as they just set out to defend the penalty area. It’s a lot more difficult to break down when you play one up top and play all your football in front of them.
Only criticsm of Carr yesterday, should have Changed things at half time, stuck with one up front, we had 2 shots on target 2nd half against 10 men,, maybe more worried about losing than winning, should have just gone for itI don't think it was a good result tbh said the same yesterday but in fairness he's not a manager and I don't expect much else from him
MR’s last interview saw him go on about players picking and choosing when to perform. That’s exactly what it was. It’s what you lose with no leadership and seemingly players not giving their all. The sort of matches decided by mindset not talent or luck.

That’s what I mean, he knows he’s not a footballing man and the quicker a director of football comes in the better, yeah I’m with you about that midfields good enough comment , but when youv‘e invested millions into a team I guess you’ve got to say that, I wouldn’t read too much into that friends with Lampard rumour, he’s not putting his head on the block just to make his so called mate happy, he’s learning how to run a football club, and he’s not doing too bad, just leave the football side aloneIt’s not the sacking per se for me Quinn, it’s the clear meddling in the “deck” (saying we have enough midfielders, strong opinions on squad quality which aren’t borne out on the pitch, strong opinions on loans), and the ridiculous managerial candidate it seems he’s going with (big name, friend of the family).
Presumably the new manager was watching, I think he’ll be encouraged by what he saw. We have some good players and major surgery is not required. A settled formation, a couple of key additions in January and a winning mentality could transform us.Saw someone talking about Spurs’ “difference between their ceiling and their floor”, feels like we’ve had a lower floor than ever and our old floor is our new ceiling. Basically we’ve moved into a lower level flat.
Getting bored of as soon as the team sheet comes out it’s play, guess the line up,Yes I agree
I don’t think it’s players not giving their all, which is why I thought Wilder‘s criticisms were wrong. It’s what you lose with no leadership and seemingly players not giving their all. The sort of matches decided by mindset not talent or luck.
