At risk of sounding delusional, you can’t completely rule out the playoffs. 11 points isn’t that much of a gap.I think another cup run is essential this season now, no play off push to distract.
More focused on keeping a relegation battle at bay tbhI think another cup run is essential this season now, no play off push to distract.
FA sold their soul to international rights a while back... so kos are all over the shop now.Why is it such a late kickoff?
Six different FA cup K.O. times on Saturday. Why is it such a late kickoff?
Come on mate, you know you want to - I've got a ticket, in the safe and certain knowledge that a 17k crowd will help finance a PL loanee, who will revitalise the season.I do not know any of my mates who are going to this game. I'm 50/50 myself.
I’d like to see us play a full strength team for this.

Assuming Sheaf is out and the formation is 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1, either works for me. I’d like to see Rapha get more minutes this game too.
Don't want Thomas Asante playing, being Cup tied will Devalue his transfer fee.
Has the potential to be a great atmosphere with SW selling out their allocation tooLooking forward to a day in the pub before. 6pm on a Saturday is great.
Don't think so, got moved for international TV.Is this game on Sky?

While I personally value your contributions to this forum, I'm struggling to understand the current level of almost vitriolic negativity regarding this specific fixture. The £13 ticket price point makes this match accessible for families, allowing them to attend for roughly the cost of a single adult ticket of a Category A game.
I notice some points from the "£13 FA Cup game" thread are being revisited here, but I believe this competition deserves more optimism. While everyone has the right to choose whether to attend, it's worth remembering that this cup brought those of us who didn't witness '87 closest to creating our most amazing footballing memories. For those of us invested in the cup, please let us embrace the possibility of another deep cup run, especially given the current circumstances.
As a side note, I share your assessment of Doug's capabilities in football business operations. He appears to prefer learning through experience and right now I genuinely think he is wondering if sacking Robins, pissing of a section of the fan base off panicking about ST renewals and having to invest in Lampards transfer wishes were really harder than getting a competent no2.
