Kitching and Simms have to play especially while we’re using 5 at the back.

MVE is seriously off it. BTA should be right down the pecking order.

Without Wright or EMC we have done ok to be fair, without those added time goals it would be 2 wins 2 draws.

Thought MvE defended better tonight ,going forward though he's way off last season's form

Thought we looked good until the subs. Unless anyone comes back or is signed I’d play the same again against Bristol

Agree with everything but mve.

Thought he was good

But we need a rB in to give home a break. He covered so much ground and we will be in trouble if he gets injured
For me mve is a frustrating watch at the moment, he’s not hitting the levels we know he can.

Simms/Kitch need to be starting every game as/when/if fit. Start building that consistent spine.
Just need a combative midfielder in through the door that hits ground running & may start turning a corner, especially when Wright & EMC get back fit

Is all the rumours on here about him true?
He always seems a popular member within the players

MVE - (NEW CB) - KITCHING - BIDWELL

(NEW RW) - SHEAF - (NEW CM) - EMC

SIMMS - WRIGHT

This team cooks. Now just need to get the players

Thought every player gave everything tonight. Chalk and cheese to earlier performances.
Allen has an incredible engine - hardly touched a ball and then plays back to back full games, with a heart problem. Pleased for him that he was given the armband.
I think Dovin's penalty save and Bassette's winner will do them both the world of good. Loved seeing Dovin pumped up.
Feeling proud of the team, which I haven't felt for a long time.

Binks looks better in the middle of a back 3 as he doesn't have to cover the left back , it actually suits him there tbh and the defence generally had a good game but kitching steals the show

I’ve always thought Binks is positionally poor in a 4, he’s still young though. Agree he looked better today. Kitching for all his hot headedness gets stuck in and is an organiser. I’ve been pissed off he hasn’t been given a run until now, especially when we’ve been so loose at the back. Just hope he’s not injured, would be just our luck

Why does everyone have a hard on for 442 lol

We would need an absolute worldie CM signing to make it work.

Yeh in fairness, I suggest because I can't deal with the idea of having to pick between Wright and EMC when both fit. Truth is, they'll just have to rotate.

Wright on the right. Been saying it for weeks, no reason he's not just as good there as on the left imo.

He’s too important a player for us to be in a position that isn’t his first choice

We definitely need to learn how to see out games.

Good points though was:

We're certainly starting to look tougher
We look like we're trying now
We look more organised (still not enough though)
Less stupid mistakes

Was Binks sent to the sidelines straight away or was it his own free will to go that quickly?

CF is his first choice is it not? Only went on the left after a very small number of forum visionaries *cough* called it way before it happened.
I'm telling you, he's 2 footed, I don't think it would make a huge difference. Unlike EMC.

Think EMC could play wingback I know it’s sounds silly but they played high up the pitch today, more like wingers imo.

And as we also stated , kitching displays leadership qualities that we've missed this season.

He gave dovin a proper bollocking first half and it was in a weird way good to see

Its very good to see. It means he actually cares about winning.

Yep he was sent, although as it’s a head injury in a break of play should he of been made to go?

For me it’s:

Dovin
MvE Thomas Kitching New LB
New CM Sheaf/New CM Rudoni
Wright Simms EMC

Also been banging the Kitching drum all season. Genuinely think he’s a leader. Hoping to see him start alot more now and I might be insane but would give him the armband

Enjoyed that - probably helped by winning. I thought Rudoni was excellent. Kitching and Dovin showed why they should always have started. And has Allen made a case for himself long term?
