So he was guessing? The ref didn’t see it according to CWR. So reading his mind seems pretty reasonable.

Well looking at the video the ref was so slow to react and control the situation, Kitching had been hit 3 times before the ref did anything, so the ref should also be disciplined for lack of control
Slow to react? The ref ran in the wrong direction at first.
Both wrong. He did exactly what referees are trained to do, get a good view between you and your assistant and let it fizz out which it always does, once it calms down then step in.
Poor decision on Kitching based on what i saw but the process was not wrong and didn't 'run in the wrong direction'
I disagree, they are meant to be in control of the game so should be calming the situation down before it escalates and someone gets hurtBoth wrong. he didn't actually get a good view though? Both wrong. He did exactly what referees are trained to do, get a good view between you and your assistant and let it fizz out which it always does, once it calms down then step in.

Yet Robins says he didn't have a good view?

Won’t be fadz he’s right footed can’t run and can’t pass
That is incorrect, the referee is in controlYou can disagree if you want, but it is what referees are trained to do. It is the team's responsibilities to control their players. Not the referee's job to get in the middle of it.
He isn’t left footedHe can pass. And he's the best header of the ball bar kitching. Kitching is fadz replacement
Sheff Wed board think they both tried to butt the otherIs there video online of the incident at the end ? Haven't seen it and everyone has a different take on what happened.
Just found one on Twitter. Looks like jostling between the two of them, some pushing, Kitching looks at him (may have said something) and the Wednesday player lost it.Sheff Wed board think they both tried to butt the other
The ref ran towards the touchline and not the goal where it happened. If he wanted a better view he should have run straight towards the incident. Both wrong. There was too many players in between the ref and what happened to be able to see what was going on by going in the wrong direction.I'm not going to keep repeating myself he ran at an angle to get a better view. You are right he didn't run directly into it.
Latibeaudiere well under the radar. Top class performance.
The bits he saw, there were 2 players between him and Kitching/the Sheff Weds player. There was too many players in between the ref and what happened to be able to see what was going on by going in the wrong direction.
Yeah, heard Oggy on the way home saying there are better options at DM but I thought he was very good today

Not before me my friendSome people were making just this prediction some time ago...
What was the gate?
And he couldn't see past the other players. Hopefully Kitching didn't do anything to deserve a red and the ref guessed what happened. The bits he saw, there were 2 players between him and Kitching/the Sheff Weds player.
29,200.
Lots of empty seats about. I’m guessing cos Christmas.

Come on no need to be rude. The referee is in control of the match, it’s something like law 5 or 6 of the FAs laws. You can't read can you?
So if the ref didn't see anything and the linesman didn't see anything the red card will stand? Not going to argue. The video is above and others can argue about unchangeable things. I can't see whether Kitching headbutted the SW player or not so won't go into that.
The initial jostling and reaction was behind the ref's back so unless the Lino saw anything, this will not be overturned.
